In answering a post about a used D7200 for $750 I was quick to say that the new one is only $799. However the price is now $999. Also the D750 instead of $1500 with the grip now is $1800 without the grip. The D810 is still $2799 but no free grip.

Nothing new with price increases for sure. But, you will have a lot more money to spend with the new tax bill in place. Check your February checks from the company????

That is when you make enough to not care about the price of the Nikon's.

Is that a price increase or are holiday sales over?

That’s pretty funny. I had to buy my own tube of lubrication.

Remember that the tax is structured so that in 2018, the e******n year, the break will be the greatest. From 2019 on the break will diminish each year to offset the $1,000,000,000,000 giveaway to the top 1.0% and business. So, don't get too excited unless you're a billionaire.

It is just the end of the holiday promotions that started at Thanksgiving!

Personally I don't have any significant taxable income so it will have no affect on me. But when the CBO says that apx 80% will see some relief who am I to argue even if I'm part of the 20%. Tell you what, sit back, enjoy your holiday and get back to me around, say March.

Not in New Jersey I won't. Between loss of the state income tax deduction and cap on real estate tax deduction I will have at least $5000 less to spend next year, and compared to many here I'm one of the lucky ones. Don't mean to hijack this thread, but the idea that we will benefit from this new tax plan is a very sore subject in this state.

2 questions, is that 5k less to spend or 5k less deductibles?
Isn't that the fault of NJ's obscene taxes in the first place?
