Wow! I counted the clocks I had to reset. I might be the champ......

24

What is your number?

About 4 but one caused a lot of grief . One of them is a small battery powered thing that gets its time from a satellite. It was showing an incorrect time by one hour. Kept taking the batteries out then replacing them and getting the clock to reset , no joy.

We are in the UK. The clock was purchased in the UK from a German supermarket chain, Aldi. Its Was set up to set itself to German (European ) time not UK GMT.

Steve Perry has an instinctual video regarding a new product by Wimberley that can be used on a monopod, as gimbal head. It looks like wonderful addition to your equipment.

I own the Acratech GP Ball-Head which does the same thing. If you own a Ball-Head, check it out to see if you can use it as a gimbal head.

I also use Acratech, great quality products . The GP ball head can also be inverted to use for stitch panoramas. The instructional videos on the Acratech site are very good .

I use Adobe's creative cloud app but my Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC have gone missing .

Checked the specs of my computer but they seem OK and this problem started before I updated my Mac to Catalina .

Is there a logical answer to this or are Adobe trying to confirm that I am a lousy photographer ?

HELP !!!!!

That was a great help. It is certainly a worry that there are some 32 bit stuff in the latest Adobe products , crazy.

Thanks for your help.

You made me recheck and you are correct, of course. however , I've now found that I have lots of Adobe stuff that is also 32 bit. I must have more than one copy of the Applications on my system. When I ran "Go64" and asked it to show the 32bit Apps , there was the Adobe stuff. I stopped there and panicked.

Will now get a coffee and relax.

I've been told that this update will not allow 32bit app to run.

My Adobe Apps (Lightroom /Photoshop) etc are all 32 bit and up to date .

Does anyone know whether this information is correct ?

Sorry to hear that holding your camera is causing you problems .

I am an olden as well and had the same problem with my Nikon D850. Solved it , well sort of , by using a Peak Design Clutch Strap. Makes holding the camera much easier . the camera is supported in the hand and is very quick and easy to adjust .

Ive also got a Z6 and also use this strap on that, can't recommend it enough .
