I see a newer version of Catalina got installed last night. Don't know what they fixed. Anybody else know of any bugs it might have fixed?

I thought the reason you buy Apple stuff is because it never has bugs! Windows is supposed to be the bug catcher.

Watching folks in friendly (I hope) argument about Apple and PC is like the same argument about Canon and Nikon.

Its all becoming over complex and the stuff is not fully tested . Aren't we lucky !

It only has problems with things other than Apple.

All software has bugs. Repeat. ALL software has bugs. Your problem as a consumer of software is to find the next undiscovered bug. Windows does have more bugs than Apple by virtue of the fact that the Windows ecosystem involves an infinite number of hardware combinations whereas Apple is dealing with a large but finite number of hardware combinations, many of which Apple can test for...if it will take the time and expense to do so. Most software vendors can't do that.

A corollary is that there is NO completely perfect testing regime. Remember that the next time you get an X-Ray at the dentist/clinic if it's a digital xray machine.

Remember that if you get on an airplane newer than a DC-3.

The thing I hate about apple products (iphones and ipads) is their hard drives are not expandable as the OS gets bigger. My ipad air2 still works, but the OS now takes up most of the hard drive. I had to deletes apps and photos to keep it working. I never had that much on it to begin with.

True - Apple only has issues with the rest of the world. They have 2 common answers to 90% of reported problems:
1) you don't need it
2) upgrade your device
