Andrew Jackson was also known to be a poor speller. During a campaign, Adams denounced him as “a savage who can scarcely spell his own name.” In response, Jackson said: “It is a damn poor mind that can think of only one way to spell a word.”

Jackson’s spelling was indeed creative; examples include “devilopment,” the continent of “Urope,” describing a “larg” audience, a reference to a “femal character.” He sometimes spelled the same word several different ways in a single letter.

Of course Ben Franklin wanted to set up a new alphabet cutting out 6 letters including C which he said could easily be replaced by K and S.

The other day when I went out shooting my camera froze. nothing worked and it would not shut off. A couple times it would become responsive again and other times I had to take battery out for it to work.

I did a firmware update today and it was fine all the way till end where it says firmware is complete.. then it froze again.

So, your question is ? Well it depends on the age of the child. IF YOU as a loving parent show them all the logistics about their interest in an adventure like the Titan thing. Like ? well, what would you do ?
Well the guy who did what he did was was taking a risk for sure but his son DID not have to take a ride in it.
Ok ,they guy spent a quarter of a million dollars, Half a million including his son.
I understand from I have read, the son wanted to bond with his father. Well ?
Ok you go from here.

Ok I'm back in the house now. br So, your questio... (show quote)

Find a safer vessel. The son's life is gone along with all its potential. And there is his aunt who said he didn't want to go but felt obligated to his father. So in essence the father murdered his son. The young man is all that I really care about. The brain is not fully developed yet and so the young man could not really make an informed mature decision yet. That is why. Who cares if he is a legal adult. There is legal and then there is ethical.

Jackson was a ruthless, heartless man. His and Van Buren’s treatment of the Southeastern tribes was an atrocity.

Absolutely right. He was a hideous human being!

The other final line for the joke is,"Oh no, now I'm really going to have to tell it slow."

Why would a parent risk the life of their child in an uncertified vessel? Just ridiculous and tragic.

The language is growing like crazy. Thousands of new words every year. The Oxford Dictionary like puts out an annual like list. Times change and so does language with it. Like it.

I love being lazy and being 75 I deserve it. When I don't want to be lazy I work a little with my camera but mostly I just enjoy using it.

Bandelier was open last summer so I assume it's still open. Google these places and you'll see if they're open or not.

Yes but dig down about 3 feet into the ocean floor to see if the worms have recovered. It takes decades for the oil to be gone at that level allowing the worms to recover which can grow to over 3 feet long.

My wife and I are on our second time through viewing the series Doc Martin. This time on Acorn TV. If you've never seen it, or all of it, since PBS didn't air the last 2-3 seasons, I highly recommend subscribing to Acorn if for no other reason than to watch an hour of Doc Marin each evening. You'll go to bed better for it.

So here they are. My top five and beyond.

Doc Martin.....Great cast, humor, drama, continuing story line, and a rolling cast of interesting characters. Must be watched to the end of the series.
Law and Order.....Great drama which stayed true and didn't become political
The Honeymooners.....The template for all comedy series to follow. Outstanding cast of characters.
Friends.....Better writing and continuity of story than Seinfeld
Seinfeld.....Much ado about nothing, which is the point, but continually, nothing. Friends progresses
Mary Tyler Moore Show.....Outstanding, outstanding casting
Dick VanDyke Show.....Where we first came to love Mary, another great cast

Ok, there were so many other great shows like The Twilight Zone, etc. These are my tops. My big point? Don't miss watching all 10 seasons of Doc Martin. It's one show that you can sit down with your wife or husband and enjoy together.

Cant take it when someone in UHH stands up to your bluster and know-it-all babbling, Paul, LOL

Grow up fella. But we all know you will never change, LOL. Just best to ignore you .

Perhaps Paul needs to find a good therapist. Sometimes he comes across as just plain abusive rather than just sarcastic.
