We had to cancel a trip to the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area in 2021 due to Covid, as many of the historical sites were closed; and we received advice for many of the (UHH) NM residents.
Looking to reschedule for October. On checking some the NP web sites it is still unclear whether many are still closed. We would appreciate updates on known opening or closures for the following locations:
Kasha Katue (Tent Rocks)
Los Alamos (Manhattan Project)
Valles Caldera
Bandalier National Monument (Satellite Arrays)
Puye Cliff Dwellings
Ghost Ranch Abiquiu
Taos
We are aware that the the annual Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival is being held 10/7 to 10/15.
TIA
Bandelier was open last summer so I assume it's still open. Google these places and you'll see if they're open or not.

I’ve never been to New Mexico and I don’t know if it’s near where you are planning, but Pancho Villa invaded Columbus, New Mexico in 1916. I mention it it case it might interest you. They claim it’s the last time the US was invaded by foreign forces.
Not on the itinerary. Plus I am one of those British Americans who after 1783 tend not to dwell on countries that tried to "invade" the USA.😁
How about the Bisti Badlands? South of Farmington. Shiprock, for that matter.
