Do macro 2.8 prime lenses of 1:1 magnification in the 90-105mm have good bokeh?

Have you looked at any online videos on how to attach these? According to this video you need to turn it on and zoom out a little to attach the adapter.

I just watched this you tube video. This appears to be the remedy. I'm deciding on the SX60 too. I hoping the OP reads your thread. Thanks.

Thye Consumer Reports Foundation raises millions of dollars per year to operate the testing facility, buy the products for testing, and pay for all the product testing done. The magazine then publicizes the results of the tests.

Now isn't that convenient financially. $$$

Welcome to the forum. The Minolta SRT-101 was owned by my father. It was a great 35mm film camera. Your Nikon D3300 will serve you well. It has 24 megapixels too. Enjoy.

As parts arrive for my new computer, I'm surprised at the size of some of them. I've always gotten Dell towers, so I wanted a tower, not a mini or a mid-tower. After spending a lot of time looking at various products and dimensions, I lost track of sizes and weights. I ordered an NZXT Phantom in red (cheaper than other colors). UPS left it by the front door, and when I picked it up, I thought it was a complete computer. It weights 24 pounds, plus the packaging! I don't think my complete Dell weighs that much. It's 24" high, 27" deep, and almost 12" wide, with several large fans inside. Now I have to find a place to put it because it's not going to fit where I have my Dell.

I also got a cooling unit for the CPU. I had seen similar units on my computers, but this is nothing like them. It's probably 8" high, 6" wide, and 4" thick. I'll have to put this computer on wheels so I can move it around the house.

The one part that is smaller than expected is the "drive." I got a Samsung M.2 256GB SSD. It's tiny - about half the size of a memory card.

Pictures to follow.

A Samsung M.2/256gb SSD half the size of a memory card. Yes, that is tiny for certain.

The Nikon DL 24-500 has been a long time coming camera. The longer the delay, the more other brands are selling like the Panasonic and Sony Bridge fixed lens cameras. The camera was listed at $1000. Hopefully that won't change because of delayed sensor production in Japan due to the earthquake.

It is a significant improvement over the M3. I read the specs on this camera several days ago from a post by an uhh member. It was good. We'll have to see what it can do when released.

The D3400 is a slight improvement from the D3300. You can Google the information you want.

Beautiful shot. The emotion as he is holding the medal is a story in itself. One can only guess what he was really thinking. He has the look of thankfulness for receiving it, as well as the pain he has gone through.

Yes, everyone today has a camera, be it smartphone, DSLR or pocket type. Someone took a photo of me just last week via smartphone, and immediately sent it to me via email. No film developing, no stamp and envelope to send it. And we thought the VCR was progress.

Beautiful shot of the long legs bird. A 17 pounder. Heck, that can give you backache in due time. The 800mm prime manually focused on a heavy duty monopod. Impressive.

If it has the name Zeiss or Leica for glass, that's convincing enough for me.

Trust me, this is not just a Panasonic problem. Nikon Bridge and compact cameras encounter the same problems.

And if you use the video mode, it has 4K video. Price is about the same as a Canon SX60. Under $500.
