Nikon B700 release date???

Anyone heard any rumors about the proposed October release date for the Nikon B700? October represents the 3rd proposed release date with the other two being postponed. Anyone know what the story is? Amazon is saying October.

But I recently heard via the grapevine (aren't grapevines wonderful?!) that there is a good possibility now that it won't happen in October. Anyone have some insight into what is happening?

And if you use the video mode, it has 4K video. Price is about the same as a Canon SX60. Under $500.

Well I was leaning toward the purchase of the SX60. But with the 700 coming out so soon I thought I might wait and see what the overall consensus is. I do like the 20 megapixels and the better video and finally a Nikon long zoom that shoots RAW. Shooting a lot of nature, I do miss the lack of RAW, at times, in my P900.
