In today's digital world, picture taking is so much easier than when I started taking photos with the 35mm format. I would start taking photos of a wide variety of subjects. Then look at what is good better and best.

Hello, I am a Vietnam Vet. Served in the 173rd Airborn Brigade HHC. Served from Feb 67, Feb 68. Started in Bien Hoa and the unit begin moving North. I was a Company clerk and then worked in Brigade S-2 Intel section. After Vietnam, I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky and then went to Germany, kicking and scrreaming. In Germany, I was with the 39th Mechanized Infantry stationed at Baumholder, in South Germany near France. Had to keep the French from invading.
Here is an idea. We went to a Christmas festival in St. Charles, MO. They had people dressed in Old World Santa costumes. It was a great place for pictures. Parades, etc.
You get what you pay for. If these so called pros with a cannon rebel had to use a 35mm camera, they would not not be able to pawn themselves into thinking they are a pro.
