Holiday Photo Ideas!

I took these last year and I'm starting to think about this year. Does anyone have any fun ideas for Christmas photos? I have a photo shoot with a mother and daughter, age 7, for Christmas pic. Ideas anyone!

O.K. I know it's early for Christmas ideas, but we're expecting 6 - 10 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow, puts me in the Christmas mood! So how about it, any photo ideas!

I'm trying to figure out what we are going to do this year as well. I have a 15 year old son, so I have to make sure it isn't "LAME"

Isn't everything "lame" when you are 15 and have to do it with or for Mom and Dad? I never had a boy, do they do the eye roll also? :)

I'm a Digital Scrapbooker so I seem to put more emphasis on the background than the photo...not sure that would help

My boys didn't do the "eye roll" thing but they had ways of conveying their discomfort when MOM had an idea lol... but Mom usually won out :D

Last year I got my wife a shovel for Christmas and she hit me with it! This year I'm gonna get her a snowblower cause I know she can't pick it up!

Elf costumes are always cute.. maybe a scene with Mom and daughter making a gingerbread house... or decorating a tree... Snow pics are great for Christmas..maybe a snowball fight if you get that snow...

Here is one I took of a young lad that had to come back and tell Santa he loved him. This was not staged. I was doing the Santa Visit Photography at the Country Club in Yakima when I took this! It was a special moment for all of us! I made a large print of this and matted it as a gift to the grandma who brought him to the event! I also did another Santa shoot where a little girl was whispering in Santa's ear and Santa did an OMG pose and looked shocked. I didn't take the shot but her mom did! She said that was gong to be their Christmas card last year!
