With our weak Canadian dollar, you can have an even better holiday getting "more bang for the buck".

Update took my files and scattered them throughout areas in the C-drive. I had to take it to the computer hospital to have someone restore. System Restore did not do it when I tried. Is there a way to stop the auto backup of Win10?

I, too, had problems. My files and programs were all over the place e.g. files in another folder. Is the update helping Win 10 run better? Not that I can tell.

Thank you. The "stick" was actually a tree that had been uprooted from the shore and was the only thing that could safely support the crystal ball without me holding it. It was an experiment on my part. But, I understand what you mean and I appreciate your thought. Feedback is an important part of my learning.

All of the above places mentioned (a month would be needed to adequately enjoy them all). My favourite, though, is the Atlantic coast (east shore) from Halifax to Cape Breton on the coastal roads. If you go to the Cabot Trail, go clock-wise so that you are on the inside. Once there, you will understand.

I have been fortunate to visit many places nationally and internationally, but me favourite is still here at home because I have the time to find sights that are usually overlooked by others.

A few months ago, I had a problem with a program. Three techies could not help me. The fourth helped me and even went beyond my problem and improved my set-up to make the program even easier.

About how far away was the camera?
How much did you move side ways?
Thanks
Pat

I was about 3' from the subject and I moved about 6" to the side.

I know, the background needs work, but I was trying to do 3D and didn't want to waste time on something if it didn't work out.

Now, look at the middle of the picture and cross your eyes. You should see a 3-dimensional bear.

I don't know the accuracy of this, but I read somewhere, sometime, that a 50mm lens is accurate. A shorter lens makes you look fatter and a longer lens makes you look slimmer. If that is the case, then I need someone with a 1000mm+ lens to take my photo.

My mistake. Obviously, my French is not as good as yours.

Sigh. No, they are not called the "fulls of Abraham," they are called "les plaines d'Abraham." In French, plaine is plain and pleine is full.
