Great... tho you will be accused of liking a sexist joke... the opening the camera back would be my mothers tech level.. sad to say! All of her shots were blurred from that index finger stab!
Always enjoyed the farside cartoons..
You gotta make sure there's film in the camera. : )
The Far Side! I love that cartoon! Always funny and this one is certainly making me laugh this morning! Thanks!

Funny it is, thanks. BUT, it is interesting when I want to post a photo to show the best way to get a result using a photographic technique, administration puts it in the GALLERY section and they put this (which has nothing to do with proper technique, outside of the dumbo opening the back of a obsolete film camera) in the photography section. INTERESTING.
AND, let us not forget to google Darkside Cartoons...

My wife won't appreciate this one. Her husband's name is Warren.

And, having properly assessed the Terrans' general level of technical [non]sophistication, the survey-team decided that Man should be served.

I may have told this story before, but it RELLY applies here.
My first camera cost me 50 cents and 5 coupons from the back of Allen’s Candy Cigarettes. It came with a plastic take-up spool, but the roll of 127 film that I bought had a metal spool. I thought the camera needed the plastic spool and the processors needed the metal spool, so I re-rolled the exposed film back onto the plastic spool. I did this on the kitchen table, and my mother cupped her hands around the film so as not to “overexpose” the film during this process.
Needless to say, my first photos with that camera were from my 2nd roll of film.
