Very general and high level reply.......but that is as far as I can go............almost sure it's a matter of codecs. Your DVD player supports the video codec used for the video, but not the audio one.

Hope this gives you somewhere to start googling for some fix (probably involving re-encoding and re burning the video to another disc).

Hopefully someone more helpful can join and give you better help.

I don't rename my files. What I found in the past in renaming individual files is to retain the original image number, so IMG_0123 might become 20210715-Wrigley-0123. But, using LR and all the search keywords and metadata / EXIF data sort and search options inside the image database, I have no need to rename the file names. Only when sharing the edited results do I consider renaming the files at export to send to others.

Yes, I agree.
A file named IMG_0123 would become 20210715-Wrigley-IMG_0123, so I could eventually undo the renaming if needed and at every moment I keep the original name.
The renaming is just in case I need, for some strange reason, to access/find a file in explorer and not through LR.
Probably, almost sure, is not needed. But it takes 5 seconds as it's done with an app automatically, so.....

Good to see my method is useful for someone like you, because I bet your volume of photographs is way bigger than mine Makes me feel I'm on a good path for the future

My original post on August 29 unintentionally and unexpectedly started a wide-ranging (15page), sometimes interesting, discussion. It was really meant only as an observation, nothing more.

That discussion confirms what we already knew, that most of us use BOTH mobile phones and dedicated, sophisticated cameras, generically described as “dslrs.” The choice often depends on a variety of factors, some of which are: “which is most readily available when the photo opportunity arises?”, “what is my target today?”, “is this a dedicated photo shoot?”, etc.

While obviously I am not arguing for or against the use of mobile phone cameras, I will say to those of you who dismiss a high quality mobile or cell phone camera as one only for “snapshots,” you should look at the results of the annual Mobile Photography Awards. Talk about “art” and “quality”! Also see Ken Rockwell’s extraordinarily positive review of the IPhone 12 Pro Max.

So, coming full circle and without trying to discover the EXIF data, which, IF ANY, of the four photos in my original post, do you believe were taken with an IPhone 12 Pro Max or with a Canon 80D with an EF 100-400mm f/4-5-6L IS II USM lens? For your convenience, I have attached the four photos again here.

After time for replies, I will post the answer if you are interested.

Pick a single main folder structure, like the Windows10 default "My Pictures". Inside the single main folder, use very simple structures after that, such as by-year 2021, 2020, 2019 and so forth. Under that, again a very simple structure:

20210830-Lincoln-Park Zoo
20210721-Chicago-Air-Show
20210715-Cubs-Game

Each new calendar date for images, just create the appropriate new folder and copy the original image files from the camera into that folder. Use an organizing software to manage all the 'descriptive' aspects of the images via 'keywords'. Use your organizing software to search your images, by the camera, or lens, or exposure, or shooting date, or all your keyword descriptions like Chicago, or Wrigley Field, or Cardinals, or Baseball, or Jane Doe, and so forth.

The structure above also allows you to clean-up and organize your existing inventory of images into the same overall and logical and simple structure.

I do the same as Paul does
The only difference is that I rename files by adding the folder name as a prefix (so the filename has also the date and description of event/trip/etc.).

Good idea on aiming to balance the palm tree with the cloud. I think that some "space" on the right of the tree would be better (instead of cutting it).
Also some more separation from the bottom border (both for the cloud and the leaves) would be better.

All personal opinion from a very very noob :)

If you had just read the rest of the thread, you would have known the OP meant 67,000, and you could have saved all the calculations and comments.

Not only that......he starts with 67,000,000 photos in his maths and somehow ends with the same 67,000,000 amount of 5TB HD needed, so 1 5TB HD for each photo

I recently purchased a re-furbished HP computer with Amazon and it is (was not described as) an old desktop which runs well but does not have wireless. I had it for several weeks before hooking it up and do not want to hassle going through a return. It will be an auxilliary desktop suitable for much with a cable connection but not what I expected. Beware of Amazon is my new motto.

Unless it mentioned that it had wireless, there's no "beware of Amazon" on this case.
You can add a WiFi dongle to your new desktop for $10 to $40 depending on your needs. Hope this helps

Can we step back and understand the issue from the start?

1. Your posting history shows you were using LR in the past. What prompted the need to import 67,000+ images into LR?
2. You talk about JPG vs JPEG vs other file types. What are all the file types in this 67k?
3. The 'JPEG' extension tends to be on an Apple machine. Are you on Windows or Apple?
4. Can you screen print the 'invalid image' message?

Doing more changes, like renaming all your files, is probably going to exasperate your current problems. If the community is going to be able to help, we'd need to understand your actual current situation. We don't have the option of remoting into your machine to 'see' the situation.

Paul is on the better/most helpful path so far (as usual). And I think that, in situations like this, is better to have one persona helping rather than a multitude with different suggestion.

It's possible so share screen (and even grant access if wanted) in all (I think) videoconferencing software (Zoom, Teams, Slack, Meet, etc.).
It may be an option to help in cases, like this one, where the information from OP is not detailed and clear enough.

Depending of the use you are thinking of, it may be a better idea to upload a higher res photo to some site (Dropbox, GDrive, iCloud, etc.) and share the link for users to download. Just so they can work starting with higher resolution.

Hope someone with good skills helps you :)

Not with that one, but with a similar one:
https://www.moveshootmove.com/collections/sifo-rotator/products/z-v-platform-designed-with-alyn-wallace-preorder

This was designed in collaboration with astro-photographer Alyn Wallace.

It feel solid and works well, and costs about the same (if you search Alyn or other "ambassadors" may have a discount code to use).
I think its thinner, lighter and it has the panning option quite well solved.

I do think the rotating wheel to tight the camera in Flexsmart model looks useful.

Make sure all the connection sin the enclosure are firm.
Also, are you sure the enclosure works? Can you try it with another disk?
