What do you think of this camera Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII ?. I have an older Sony FX80. It still works and takes great pics and video. Of course neither one compares to my Canon R6 mirrorless. Just wondering if it's worth the expense. It's just a pocket camera to capture shots on the go.
Phone cameras will never replace pro equipment!
Most all of my shots are good except for color color correction on some. AI is the future for some but not if you learn how to use your camera. I mainly do video work but usually incorporate some pics in the video.
I have a Canon R6 with a 24/105 lens. The camera is still heavy. You probably won't find a "light" mirrorless with any lens.

Earlier last year I bought the Canon EOS R6 mirrorless. 24/105 lens. Love it.
I use the 1.8 and it is good for portrait and everyday basic shots. Video is good. When I want top quality I shoot with my 24-105 lens. Camera is Canin EOS R6.
Nothing will turn your cell phone into a real camera!
2011 but still takes great video and pics and that 30X optical can't be beat. I always take it along for quick shots. When I shoot pro I use a Canon EOS R6
SONY DSC-HX80. 30 X Optical, 4K Video.
I have had that same problem many times! If you talk to tech support they can't explain it. That's the extent of the support you will get.
With mirrorless what you see is what you get. If you shoot video outdoors you can see what you are shooting. The led/lcd screens get washed out shooting outside. The Canon R6 was y first mirrorless. I love it. This link will take you to a video and stills I shot with the R6.

I always buy third party and never had a problem. I use them in my Canon EOS R6 and my Canon HF G60 Camcorder.
With so many companies selling the same product they just want your order before the other guy gets it.
