Spouse and I can't put all our electronics on one table, because we have about 5 computers and not even one TV; I have about 5 cameras, altho iPhones are doing most of our photography now. In our 80's, she does better with users guides than I. My digital camera guides and Photoshop books are too complicated for me. In my childhood I loved learning how things worked, built an amateur radio station in which I knew the function of each component in the circuit diagrams. When solid state electronics came out, I failed to gain that understanding, altho I had a career in computer programming and a master's in math. Those skills have long gone into the now distant past.

I have a Q that I don't want to sell, altho I have got so lazy that I mostly use my large iPhone. Friends and family mostly want stiff on Facebook and the iPhone is good enuf for that. I agree that Tamarkin is an honest Leica dealer. Bought and sold with them for years.

Interesting list. Quality handmade items at the top of mine, such as:
Tools from Europe and USA so I can make and repair almost anything.
Two 4-wheel drives.
Two lightweight motorcycles.
Amateur radio equipment.
Leica cameras and telescope and binoculars.
Masi bicycle made in Italy.
Twinworks kitchen knives.
Hand-push lawnmower.

My Leica M9 with 50mm F1.4 ASPH was my favorite until it quit.

In 1971 I visited a bike dealer in Denver, who sold me what he stated was the best road bike. It was signed by Faliero Masi, marked Gran Criterium, Reynolds 531 steel frame, MILANO, hardware by Campagnolo. I came to agree with the dealer, fell in love with the bike, could ride 100 miles in a day then when I was still young. At home I sat for hours looking at every detail of the handmade frame and the hardware. By 2010 I was too old for the drop bars, changed them, and sold it about 2015. Still have photos.

A couple in Newman GA found this screech owl inside their Christmas tree when they started to decorate the tree. They tried to encourage it to leave, but it kept coming back to the tree. They finally called animal control who removed the owl and took it rehabber to be checked for any health issues before being released back to the wild.

In December 2013 we found an eastern screech own seeking shelter in a black plastic drain pipe for waste water.

My favorite camera is a mirrorless Leica Q. Other digital Leicas I have used are in the mirrorless M series.

2012 MacBook Pro is my principal computer. Travel with it. Attach a larger screen when at home. Don't have a desktop otherwise. Spouse has an iMac, MacBook, iPhone, Apple watch and she is usually online with something.

FredCM asks if anyone has found gravitons yet. I am amazed at the recent discovery of gravity waves by means of very expensive research instruments confirming Einstein's predictions. The Wikipedia article on gravitons discusses string theory, which is way beyond my understanding. Maybe someone else can answer Fred's question.

Used it accidentally and wondered why the card didn't work, until I remembered that the card HAD a lock.

My newest computer is a fully loaded 2012 MacBook Pro with an additional larger screen. Use Adobe Bridge CS5 to edit and manage my large collection photos and am content with it. Wife has newer iMAC and MacBook Pro and iPhone and Apple watch which she is skilled with and uses constantly. Amazing what she can do with them, but she is not serious about photography other than Facebook.

The columns can be made vertical (and parallel to the flagpole) in post processing for example Adobe Camera Raw/lens corrections/vertical.
