I have a 24-105mm that came with my Canon 6d Mark II, but it doesn’t seem like I could take a really good photo of a bird with it. Not that I want to really get into taking bird photos, but Ive seen some beautiful bird photos on this site. What kind of lenses are you guys using?

I agree. Nowadays you need some video. I have a band so I need both. It helps when club owners want to see pictures and videos of the band. You can put everything on YouTube. Also, I can use my cameras to do virtual rehearsals if need be.

If you got a really good price on it, what does it matter? Go to the Goodwill, get another cord and get the pdf manual on the internet for free.

I know this is an iconic camera, as it has taken photos of presidents and what not. But how much is this camera really worth? I’ve been seeing some outrageous prices.

The end result has to be very believable. Someone took pictures outside of my band, he separated the images and put a new background to them. Now I can do that in photoshop with the pen tool because I used to be a photo retoucher, but this guy had the entire composition together the next day. This would have taken me at least two days and I might have had some problems with the ladies hair.

I agree. I used to be a photo-retoucher and I know how to use the pen tool very well, but like you said it doesn’t do very well with hair and it is time consuming.
