Yesterday (Sat, 6/25/22) in RMNP. If you want to go into the park between 9AM and 3PM you will need a reservation. before or after no problem. Be sure to take a jacket it was 42* with a stiff breeze. Wild life was moving pretty good. We saw 20-30 deer, 10-12 bull elk (4 within 12' of the road) momma and baby moose (30-40' from road). a heard of elk, probably .5-.75 miles from road. Pictured elk was shot with my new (it was the 9th shot) Sony RX10 IV, hand held in wind at 600mm. Be sure to eat at Smokin' Daves BBQ on hwy 64 south of town (on the way to the south park entrance).

You could whip down to Colorado Springs—Garden of the Gods, Pikes peak and just opened What-a-burger!

First, I’m sorry for your loss. I was sucked in on a similar scam about 4 years ago. I was selling my iPhone. Got an email from a guy in NJ who wanted it ASAP. He would pay extra to ship it overnight. I got a “PayPal” email showing the money had been received (first time I received money with PP). I boxed it up took it to FedEx and off it went. No money! It was fake! PP wouldn’t do anything because it actually didn’t go thru them. I paid FedEx with an Amex card. My wife called Amex. Amex/FedEx tracked it to the guy in NJ who forwarded it to Miami and intercepted it before it got on a boat (or plane?) to Nigeria. I had it back in 4-5 days. I had to pay the FedEx charge back to me, but WOW! The fake email was a perfect copy of the real thing.

My father brought it back from WWII. It shot 35mm half frame which in the 50s no one locally would mount slides. So I ended up with it. I found a place that could order the 1/2 frame slide mounts and mounted them myself. Of course, being a kid, after I got my Instamatic , I took it apart.

I found this old mill in 1972, up the canyon. Today there's a good road to it.

It’s actually really good, so long as you view it from 10’ away and if the light isn’t very good. It’s not a “ wall hanger.”

Yes-I had it printed as a banner to cover a 5’ wide window in the basement.

Good shot---After being "raised" on brass and glass (film) cameras, it's just amazing what you can do with digital!
This is my first attempt at stitching. 7 handheld shots in the Rocky Mountain NP. Done with Affinity Photo in about 20-30 seconds then a little PP. I purchased it, about 20 minutes before it went on sale for half off, because it offered stitching and focus merge--Great program at a Great price!
