Please answer that question for me... I can go a few weeks without taking a photograph but every day I am in Lightroom and Photoshop fine tuning photos. I am also reading manuals, taking online and courses at the community college... man I spend a lot of time on this "owning a camera".

You're a quick learner, will soon have that camera down pat. ISO of 204800, I guess it was a little grainy. Thanks for sharing.

I have the Tamron 28-300 that I use as a walking around lens on my 5D4. It produces some nice images but I pull out some of my Canon L glass in the appropriate range if I am wanting tack sharp images.

A smaller aperture or whip out the phone and take your picture... f/16 or higher will get you there if you have enough light - your metadata was not available in the download to help determine appropriate exposure triangle settings. Go out and try different settings. PRACTICE!

I was shooting in Eastern NC also, Cedar Point and I got a Blood Moon. I think your moon shot was not quite full eclipse and under exposed.
