Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I've narrowed it down to the 500 or 750. Leaning toward the 750, but then I would have to buy new glass. The 500 is great, but no flash.
I'm guessing the low light is so good Nikon decided it did not need a flash.

I have been out of shooting for about 10 yrs. I have not been keeping up with the technical advances in equipment.

Thanks. I did that after the first err message. The lock was off.

What would be a good upgrade from the D90. I have looked at the 7500, 7200, 500, 610, and 750. I do not shoot professionally anymore. But, I still want
professional quality. Thanks for your time and input.

I have a question, since Nikon does not support D90 any more. Last night I used my D90 with an AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8D lens. I had it on a tripod using the
"live view" to focus and shoot. I used the remote attached to the camera to fire. I got a "r 9 err". I turned the camera off, waited a minute or so, and turned it back on.
The flash popped up and the camera took a picture. I deleted that one and I was able to shoot 3 frames before it did it again. I reset the camera again and I was able
to get about 5 more frames before it did it again. Any suggestions?

Take a look at Vanguard Pro. I have the 284CT carbon fiber model. (This particular one is discontinued for it is being upgraded.) I've had it bout 4 yrs with one minor problem with one of the legs locking down. I happen to be visiting family in MI, so I went by the office to have it checked out. They had it fixed in about 2 minutes. I would definitely buy another Vanguard if the need would arise.

I am installing a TV antenna at 45ft. for I want to cut the cable. I should be able to receive about 50-55 channels, including multicast. (This is according to the FCC website reception map for my rural area.) My internet speed is 30, is this fast enough for Roku 3 or TiVo? What are some of the pros and cons for Roku 3 vs TiVo?

Just changed from Allstate to USAA. All state charged a $33 termination fee. Changing to USAA is saving about 30% a year.

With all of the computer whizzes here I hope somebody can help me. I have a laptop with Windows 8.1 and it will not play any videos, on line, that are not on you tube. Also, I have a laptop with Windows 7 and it does the same thing.
However, when I first got it, it would play all videos on line. All software and drivers are up to date. Any ideas?

Flew from the Azores to Norfolk, Va. on a P3 Orion recon airplane with an Admiral, can't remember his name. We were about an hour out from Norfolk when we hit an air pocket(that is what the pilot called it) and we dropped about 1000 ft. before the pilot regained control.
