You're right. I'm going to start using this camera again. Bigger is better. You just said so. I believe you. I always do.

All you need is a digital sensor!

Nice shot, but a little overdone for my tastes IMO.

Another keeper! We have some friends that live in SPI, and hope to get down there and do some exploring the area.

I can tell you put a lot of work in those photos, Bubba - and the oncoming Great Blue Heron was awesome, great series!

Love the work Linda. As for myself, this is one of my favorite pictures. You know me, I'm a taker of pictures working at being a photographer so this is as artsy as it gets for me.

Nice shot Doc, from Bill in Lewes!

I have not done a lot of prints, but I suspect that there would be little difference as I use the XL capacity cartridges from EZink at the present time.

I've been using a ip8720 model, prints up to 13" wide and have been getting good results with it so far after about 2
years of use. Great for B&W prints also. Good value and cannot see a difference between OEM and generic inks.

I took your original scan you supplied and ran it through PaintShopPro 2021 and eliminated a lot of spots while I was at it (I have come to love the Salt and Pepper filter in their Add or remove noise folder). And after applying 35% fade reduction came up with this after 7 minutes of work.

Seems like as long as people are willing to pay what the market will bear, there's no reason or need to lower the prices. Supply and demand imbalance. I'm willing to wait.

Try setting the camera to manual and then turning the polarizer. That locks in the exposure so it cannot change with the reduction of reflected light by the polarizer. Once the polarizer is set, change back to the mode you want for shooting. I find the same problem with my camera because as the highlights are brought down, the shadows are bought up exposure wise. This changing exposure makes it much harder to judge the actual changes to the sky.

Brilliant, I never thought of that! I'm glad to see that 'ol lightbulb in my head hasn't burned out yet!

May also need a polarizer on lens to cut down on any reflections/glare if any glass surfaces are present.
