Any "refurbished" product listed by Cameta Camera is refurbished by the manufacturer - no exceptions.

At a church rummage sale, I picked up a Canon AE-1p, 5 lens (2 good Canon lens) and a good flash unit for a few bucks.
One of the lens is an Adorama 70-200mm macro f4.5 MC zoom lens made in Japan.
Anyone ever hear of one???

Back in the day a lot of stores (like SEARS, JCPenney, etc.) carried lenses branded for their store - different manufacturers made these lenses and simply slapped the store name on them. I suspect it would be something like that with Adorama as well. Some of these lenses (depending on who made them) were better than others.

Good morning everyone.
I bought a Canon 70D about a year and half ago and realized how much I love bird and wildlife photography.
I want to upgrade to the 7D Markii and was wondering if there is anywhere that takes cameras in on trade? If not, what would a fair price be for the used 70D? Not sure of the shutter count, probably about 5000ish, great camera, I just want to upgrade.
Thank you

Bob

Both Google Photos and Flickr are excellent for what you describe - Flickr provides 1 TB of storage at no charge and Google photos allows unlimited uploads of scaled down files at no cost - or full res files on a fee basis (not expensive). In both cases you can save your images into albums and then share those albums with others by sending them a link. Photos can be stored as private or public in each program. There is also an APP for each program that you can have on your iPhone and/or tablet to access your files anywhere and anytime.

On a vacation like you are describing I would be reluctant to go with just my iPhone - but is it possible to do so? - sure, all a matter of personal preference. You might consider purchasing a high end point and shoot like the SONY RX100 V if you want to combine much higher image quality than your phone camera can capture but retaining a small enough size to slip in a shirt pocket.

Going to Italy, Switzerland, and France and will be gone for 20 days and all of my traveling will be done by metro or train and have decided that I may not want to drag my D7200 and two lenses along due to the fact that there is a considerable amount of walking and public transportation not to mention dragging a carry-on suitcase around, I have been on a similar trip several years ago but traveled by car. I plan on using my cell phone camera which does shoot in raw and does do a good job for the most part of taking pictures if I was traveling as before by car I would take my equipment, just trying to get other thoughts on my dilemma.

Has never happened to me but it certainly points out the value of having a backup. It is also entirely possible that a camera could simply malfunction as opposed to being lost or stolen so even if you take much precaution to guard against loss or theft you could still lose the ability to use and camera.
