I have dealt with both companies with no problems.
Both are selling a refurbished Nikon D5300 for $399, no tax, no shipping cost.
Cameta offers 1 year warranty; Adorama a 90 day warranty.
Doesn't it make sense to go with Cameta?
Thanks
Cameta is an excellent company to do business with. There's nothing wrong with Adorama either. Personally, I would go with Cameta and pick up the extra warranty.
My first question would be: Who did the refurbishing? If the answer is the same for both cameras then going with Cameta would seem to be a no-brainer, don't you think? Otherwise, my only concern would be the quality of the refurbishment.
I have bought two refurbished cameras from Cameta and I have had no regrets. Both cameras came directly from Nikon and were in the branded Nikon Refurbished boxes with all the accessories expected. They also put together little packages with some other items that compliment the camera for a nominal increase in the price.
I have purchased misc gear from Adorama with full confidence. The warranty is sweeter with Cameta though.
I have a refurbished D7000, it came to me in perfect condition with a 1 year warranty. I have no experience with Adorama
Thanks. Off to order from Cameta. And yes, both are listed as Nikon refurbished.

Go with B&H, the others maybe fine also, but I have only used B&H.
It is possible to purchase an warranty through Adorama for multiple years. Choice is yours.

I have dealt with both and both are excellent. Camera sells factory refurbished Nikon equipment. It includes Nikon's 90 day warranty and another 9 months provided by a third party, New Leaf, I believe, but am not positive about that piece. Camera has excellent customer service, just like Adorama and B&H.

Yes. They're a first rate dealer.
Thanks all. I just wanted to double check. I have worked with Cameta, B&H and Adorama previously with good service and quality. I ordered from Cameta. By the way, I live near KEH (Atlanta area) and I purchased from them as well, but the sales tax keeps me away now if I can find the similar item elsewhere.
But KEH is excellent.
Yes it does. I have made several purchases from both of them, but the thing that tipped me in the direction of Cameta, is that they belong to a website called EBates. When you join EBates, and sign on, then go to Cameta from there, you will receive Cash Back, in the form of a rebate check, sometimes as much as 3 to 5 percent of the amount of the purchase you make from Cameta, from EBates.

Since you don't have experience with any company other than B&H how do you know they are the best?

Come on man. Isn' t the answer obvious? 1 year as opposed to 90 days? Geesus.

Because all three are highly regarded here on the hog, but I can personally only speak for B&H.
That is why!
And I did not say B&H was the best, so re read what I wrote!
