Maybe so, but did we not hire Obama to fix the problem ? He has had almost 4 years and has only made the situation worse. Its time to fire him and bring someone in with the experience to fix it. Its just common sense.
Re the "N" word: "Its only a insulting word if it is said by a White person" as pronounced by the philosopher Ice Tea.
Who makes up these crazy rules ???
Have your friend download Google's free Picasa 3.
I just came across a great buy on Ebay: Class 6 8Gig Samsung micro chips priced at $3.95 ea. and shipping is free. They are shock and water resistant. You will need a SD adapter for most cameras but they are easy to come by.

PJ: Excellent explanation. I have learned something and I thank you for it.
Interesting picture. We have a second home on North Hutchinson Island and our beachs are just sand. It looks like the pictured beach would be tough to walk on.
Getting sharp pix is usually a function of using as small an aperture as possible for the lighting available. The larger the aperture (smaller numerical number) the softer the picture will be. Try using manual aperture setting of f8 and see if your pix improve.
Re your reply:FYI FZ47 does not have a hot shoe. It has a built-in flash unit that I have found to be quite adequate and also has a EVF as well as a 3" diag LCD. It is a HD video as well as still. Check out the specs and I think you will be quite pleased.

I have had a Panasonic FZ47 for about 6 months now and could not be more satisfied with it, particularly the Lens which is made by Leica. The resolution is outstanding. I bought it on sale from Adorama at about $240.00. Its considered a "bridge camera" between a Point and Shoot and DSLR. Its a nice light package and the optical zoom goes out to 24X which has covered every need I have run into so far. I really cant point out any deficiencies, except it does not fit in my pocket.
I've never had a bad chip immediately after purchasing however I have had chips that were wiped by a magnetic source and had to be reformatted to get to work again. They are physically quite rugged but when the camera or other device reports having a problem with the chip you can usually get it to work correctly by rubbing the gold contacts with an eraser, (preferably one made for ink) then wiping the contacts with a soft cloth.
Thanks for the response. I will need to do some research.

Thank you very much for your advice. I have never used the service so your primmer is a valuable education for me.
Thanks again and I hope I can return the favor.

Thanks for your insight. I appreciate it.

I have some older equipment that is in VG condition and am seeking advice as to where might be the best place to present it for sale. I have a Liaca IIIf with the Summacron collapsible 50mm f2 lens along with a 35mm and a 135mm lens plus other accessories. I also have a Tessina wrist camera that shoots in split frame 35mm.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
These are 3 shots of a Hawk that seems to have taken up residence at my home in Leesburg Florida. He uses my 2nd floor balcony which overlooks Lake Harris as a hunting perch.
Equipment used was a Panasonic FZ47. All shots were taken through a plate glass window.
