Must see: On Kauai - Kalalau Valley; was (and maybe still is) rated most beautiful beach in the south pacific by the Sierra Club. If you're fit, you can hike in (11.5 miles I believe). Otherwise the only way to get on the beach is to find a local hawaiian with a boat; it's worth it. It is a magical place full of mango groves, tarot, wild fruits, goats, a steam with fresh water shrimp, waterfalls, an ocean cave, an incredible Haow and (at least sometimes) waves that break for a REALLY long way with seagulls surfing the curl. Hanakapiai is about 2 miles in with great (but dangerous) body surfing and a world class waterfall.

I just bought a like-new Minolta IV Auto Meter (flash and ambient) from KEH for $124. Like it so far.

There are two types. White based and silver based. If you image has a considerable amount of white in it, go with the white base. If not, the silver base looks fine. Both look great with the proper subject matter. I had the attached image printed on white based metal. My local lab wants to re-print it for display purposes.

I had the same problem with one of them and the manufacturer is happy to fix it for free, but shipping cost more than a new one.

Last I checked, there is an Amazon seller providing US repairs (probably replacements).

My YN568EX quit syncing in the middle of a shoot. It doesn't work on either D7100 so I know it's not the camera. I can find no repair facility on the internet. Do any of you Yongnuo owners know where I can send it or is it a throw-away?

Are you actively using Light Zone? I tried it and liked it a lot; I was able to get better results quickly (on my monitor) with it than other products. When I converted it to a tiff and opened in light room, didn't look so good. I began to think I might be going down a road that might be a dead end since there seems to be little current interest in the product.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on Light Zone....

If you are using a Mac, Phocus is also free, learning curve included.

I like everything about it except her expression.

Now waiting to see what people don't like about it.
Maybe the wisp of hair on her shoulder?

Thanks for posting this. I've wanted to get this subject cleared up for some time; the information and the way it's presented it perfect for my needs.

T-Mobile really excels if you travel out of the country. Data is free pretty much all over the world and you can use Google Voice (Hangouts) or WhatsApp to make free (good quality) phone calls over WiFi. Cell calls are free in Mexico and Canada. I have a son who worked in Asia for a year and now lives in Europe and it's all he's ever had or needed. In-country calls are fine in most places; I think the quality depends on where you are. T-Mobile also has some very good pricing on family plans.
