I have an A77 that I bought new. Still works very well. Also have an A65 as a 2nd body. I can still use my Minolta A mount lenses.

There were 6 people that were lost, 2 others were rescued. Fortunately either the pilot or the captained radioed the bridge and all vehicle traffic was stopped. My condolences to you for traveling on the Belt Pkwy. Hope you have lots of toll money. LOL!

I just received a P600 with a clogged print head. I bought some empty refillable carts, and will try clean it with Piezo Flush. If it works, I will buy some more refillable, and order Precision Colors ink. Hope I get luck, otherwise, I spent about $150 for nothing. That includes the Ink Potty for waste ink.

What the web says: The 200MP sensor can take good photos in both broad daylight and low light. Photos in normal mode have captured most details and if you turn on Night Mode, the images will be on the brighter side.

For $1200 - I'll pass.

I bought one but have not used it yet. I did not buy it for only the camera.

I had one from VW, with zero deductible. They paid for a long block, and numerous other repairs. My local repair shop has had terrible experiences with Car Shield. One of their customers had $3,600 repair that they only paid $600.

My brother sold car warranty insurance for about a year. He couldn't keep anyone happy. If he ruled for the customer, the insurance company would be pissed. And he ruled against the customer, they would be pissed. Anyone with a tow hitch or snow plow, their claims would be denied. He got out of it and sold high performance boat insurance and made an excellent living.

They put speed bumps on our subdivision main road. Just to add insult to injury, they put poles on the side of them so you can't go around them. A royal PITA!

My brother ordered a 2023 convertible. With all of the extras, it came in a hair under 100K. This is from the dealer that sells 1200 per year. I wouldn't mind having his 2014. Only has 15,000 miles. Nice to have a bucket list at 85!

Folks often discuss where cameras, lenses, etc, come from.

Few ask where the parts came from.

Auto plants now are mostly assembly plants using parts from all over. The same plant can make parts for different brands. At one point, maybe still true, the Toyota Camry had more US made parts than any US brand. My Acura window sticker claims 65% of parts are from US and Canada. It's a Japanese brand. Go figure!

Several years ago there was a $70,000 Cadillac on the dealer's lot. I looked at the sticker and 69% of the parts were made in China! So much for American cars. That's the reward for bailing out GM!

Bought it, tried it, don't really like it because:
1. The controls are moved around, and old muscle memory is unhappy when using it.
2. They use a lot of battery power because to just look through them to spot subjects they have to be on, and they don't have or don't like carrying around batteries.
3. They found that aside from being mirrorless and a bit smaller and lighter, the pictures are not spectacularly better than their DSLR bodies, so not really worth it to them to relearn the controls and stock up on batteries.
4. Furthermore, they need to buy new lenses because using them with the old lenses + adapter wipes out most of the smaller/lighter thing. And those new lenses are $$$$.

I have 1 full frame DSLR (5Div), 3 crop sensor DSLRs (7Dii, 80D, 90D) with a pile of EF/EF-s lenses and an R7 with 1 RF lens and one RF-s lenses plus adapter and 1.4x extender. I am making the effort to learn the new camera, but actually my new Sony RX10iv is getting a lot of my time as it is so handy to take just-in-case. If I plan on a trip to do the birds at the Riverwalk then I will haul out the R7 with 100-400 + extender or the DSLR of choice with the Tamron 150-600 G2 and extenders. And at 77 last month, I may consider hiring a lineman from the high school team to act as "gun bearer". A couple of bucks, a stop at the fast food joint and maybe some free photography lessons (I taught basic photography a bit on the side when I was still teaching history, geography and government.) and maybe the loan of a camera now and then should get me a good strong one fairly cheap. Besides, he can double as my bodyguard to prevent some #$@&% from mugging me for my wallet and that expensive photo gear.

I love your great sense of humor! It all makes sense to me being 78.

I also have a Pro 100, and a spare. Jose Rodriguez, the printing guru has one that is 9 years old with the original head. He recently installed a CISS system from Ink Products. and it appears to be working well. The results are beautiful.

I had a DC-4800. If I remember correctly it was one of, if not, the best at the time. My very first digital camera.

I had one too, until someone stole it from my office. I think that it was one of the Realtor's assistant, but could not prove it. It had a decent wide angle ens. Paid about $900 for it.

They used to race them on the Hudson River. The race would start in Albany and finish in NYC. They pounded your body very badly.
