Not your 1961 Vette Mike but a 1959 with a very similar body style. I did not shoot any 1961 models. Please check out the price sticker!
Hope you like.

Excellent set.
Would be nice to have one of these. But not sure what to do with it as I love to actually drive and that would be a great risk for such a wonderful car.
Thank you for sharing.

$4,700.00 was a huge sum of money when this car came out. You got what you paid for.

What a surprise! I figured it would be a lot more. I'd buy a new one for $50,000. I don't think you can buy a new one for less than $100,000

As the value of money varies so goes the equipment on the vehicle. Today's Corvette at appx. twice the amount you mentioned would have lots of additional equipment onboard. Except for the fun nothing from the '61 Corvette survives today. More money, more car.

Beautiful car, nicely shot. In the 50s through 2010 the stock Corvette was was never a drag care or a road race car. From 55 with the 265 V8 through 58 with the 283 FI it was America's first attempt at a sports car.

Beautiful shots of 1 of as series of iconic American sports cars. Sure do like my old 98 C5, lots of fun these cars are.
