Do compare the 7D along side the 70D and consider what features are most important to you.

Lightroom is the better organizer by far (imho) and I think a superior application for 90% of your photo editing tasks. Since PSE is only used for 10% of my photos I haven't learned to be very efficient with it. Both software's are excellent and photographers I talk with all have both.
One other thing. Lightroom doesn't have face recognition which PSE does. Hopefully that will change with the next release as I still do family events.

I've had mine for a month now and couldn't be happier. It has some amazingly cool features built right in but can also be every bit as manual as any DSLR. It is the camera that I have with me all the time. I miss the built in lens cover that the previous models had, but that's it.

I went to tramsey's suggested website to remember why I picked the 60D over the t4i. I absolutely love the 60D and I probably would have loved the t4i as well. I don't think you can make a wrong decision here.

Don't give it another thought. Just buy it, especially at the prices they offer it at today. I seldom need to go elsewhere.

Can't say about the Tamron 18-270 but I do own the Canon EF 70-200 f4. It's a big lens and not one I would consider as a walk around. For studio work, using a tripod, it should provide everything you need as long as the 70 end of the lens isn't too long for your studio.

There is also a $100 rebate on the lens good through the end year end (I think).

Adding to MT Shooter's comments - Costco doubles your warranty, has maybe a 90 day, no questions asked, return policy. Anything I can buy at the right price from them I do.

I'm selling my Nikon P7000 to get the new model P7700. They are bigger than a P&S but can shoot in raw and have a ton of manual controls. I also like the layout quite a lot. This is my "always with me" camera.

I've had my 60D for a while now. When I purchased I compared this with the 7D. I opted for the 60D because of the articulating screen. The 7D shoots more frames per second but I don't do much sports type photography. The 7D does not have a full frame sensor.

I received an email the other day about a conference in Orlando. It sounds great. Maybe too good to be true.

Has anyone heard of this group before?

Wife and I are going up to celebrate our 20th anniversary and her 10 year, cancer free, anniversary. Taking her to see Spiderman and, oh yeah, just happens to be a photo show in town. What's a guy to do.
