Nikon will not repair grey market items, and Nikon has also removed all authorized repair companies and services from third parties.
So they may not even be able to get parts, much less any specialty equipment used for repair and calibration.
Right to repair laws don't seem to have much effect for Nikon.
I think I've read that other manufacturers will repair a grey market device, for full price of labor and materials, but may not warranty their work in that case. Verify before committing to such a purchase.
My dad had one of those original SX-70.
Glad I survived having my pictures taken with it.
Near my area, package thieves follow behind the delivery people, I see many reports on social media.
Many houses are a few steps away from the sidewalk, so it's fast and easy to grab a box.
Best thing to do is to find the local drop off and pickup points.
Fedex, UPS, and Amazon all have them.
USPS and DHL might be a little harder, and there are some smaller couriers as well.
Perhaps a local business would receive packages for you.

Another thing to do is to have only the card with the firmware update in the camera, if your camera has two storage slots.
I do this, just in case.
Selling to KEH, B&H, MPB, or your local camera store will net you a lower return than trying to sell directly. They need room to markup the price a little.
Selling directly does come with a little extra effort for packing and shipping. Postal insurance can be useful in some cases as well.
Best wishes to you as you sell your things.

I wonder how many Yugos have been stolen. And why.
I know of at least one.
A long time ago, a coworker had a Yugo, and it was stolen from the work parking area, deep inside a manufacturing area.
Also in the lot was a Mercedes, a BMW, a Datsun Z, and other nicer vehicles.
Beautiful photos of the Corsair.
Corsair is the name of the basic design.
Before 1962, the Navy had a convention for model numbers.
F = Fighter
A number indicating the design type
G or U, indicating manufacturer
A dash,
Then subsets or design changes to the main design.
F4U, a Corsair made by Vought
FG, a Corsair made by Goodyear as a licensed contractor.
Vought made it to F8U, before the 1962 change.
Grumman had a similar situation with the F4F Wildcat. When produced by GM, they were labeled FM.
D400?
SB-400, ok
Good batteries?
Is flash on camera turned off, or set to automatic?
Just to check, I downloaded the 1.11 file and the 1.12 file.
I went to the Download folder, and double-clicked the .exe file d40v111en.exe. This created a D40Update folder, and the two .bin files were there.
DX lenses on a Nikon Z FX body will force the camera into DX crop mode. So a Z5 and Z6 will generate approximately 10 megapixel images, the others would be approximately 20 megapixels, similar to your Z50.
Not worth it on Z FX bodies.
The FX DSLRs at least had an override option. So the user could accept the full image.
As an example, the AF-S 35mm 1.8 DX was decent even on an FX camera. Some corner darkening, but decent.
A nice set of forest nymphs
My D500 came from KEH. As described and works well.
The addon diopter from Nikon for the D7100 take the place of the rubber eye guard. The same piece you would remove if you were to put the cover on to prevent back light.
Nikon has two diopter styles, round, for the pro and semi pro cameras, D810, D850, D5, etc and rectangular for the rest, like the D7100.
The sad thing I found was that the eye cup would not fit over the diopter .

HELP!
I was just gifted a Nikon FG film Camera for my birthday. It came with 3 [LEGACY?] E series lenses
[That work with it]
I am trying to use the 50 mm. F1:1.8 with my Nikon D3100. Some chart I found [on UHH] shows compatability, but the D3100 is showing no lens.
I would like to use this as I have no Prime Lens for my D3100, only ZOOM lenses which are far slower.
Is there a setting in the Camera I need to adjust?
Confusion: Is there more that 1 E series in Nikon Lenses?
Series E lenses have no electronic communication so the DSLRs won't recognize them as present.
Some models have a lens setting where you can tell the camera what is mounted. You may get some metering help that way.
At any rate, treat it like a full manual lens.
Series E are AI capable, but I don't know if the camera is
