I rarely join the Chit-Chat discussions, but the 3 reasons the earth is flat (plus the 'bonus' no carbonated oceans) really caused a chuckle.

The UHH team here might have missed a 'real' discussion of the robot replacement pigeons in the UK.

https://pigeonsarentreal.co.uk/about/

After this short taste, ask yourself, have you ever, in any context, ever seen a baby pigeon? You begin to realize, they really are all government-operated drones ....

The story of pigeons, state surveillance, and the oppression of the British people is a long and intertwined tale. Buckle up.

... No one in Britain born anytime since 1990 has ever seen a baby pigeon, yet they still believe these creatures are conceived and born naturally.

It’s difficult to blame the unsuspecting public, as government propaganda has worked hard to prevent the truth from getting out...

Well actually this dovetails nicely with the topic in applying the saying 'Birds of a feather...yep. suffer the same weather '.
Loosely interpreted.

Of course! All that water has been sitting so long that the carbonation has escaped.

Nah. All the whales already drank it. Now we know why they blow so hard when they surface!

It's four lanes with lots of businesses and cars entering and exiting. Years ago, there were quite a few accidents. When the business section ends, the limit goes back to 55, too slow for you probably.

If you do 55 around Tx you just get run over. About 10 years ago on a trip to Austin I 'somehow' wound up on the troll road out of Dallas. A mile in, speed limit was 75, then 85, and I'm pretty sure I saw a Whatever speed sign. I'm pretty sure. Straight, flat. VW passat wagon, turbo 4 cyl, 5 speed, fwd w/ modified suspension. 120 was a very comfortable cruising altitude. Had easily more to go but didn't chance it.

The problem with the freeways, 45 No, So, 610 loop, 290 whatever, for example, was w/ 4 lanes of heavy traffic the flow would reach 50 mph. In about 5 ft. they would be going 15. Strong brakes and attention was required.

Full Spectrum Lighting is still an LED. It's the second or third(?) generation...it keeps advancing.

In an area as in an office, library etc. they are still giving off an uncomfortable luminance. Sometimes you can sense the difference just as you walk in - it seems like it's a weird glow - if one is sensitive enough to recognize the difference. Or trained to do so.

Incandescent light bulbs are very inefficient...which is why they run hot.
They push out 90% infra red light (which you perceive as heat) and 10% light you can perceive.

That's why a 6 or 10 watt LED can be just as bright...and not hot to handle.
They push out 100% light that your eye can perceive.

No reason to ever have an incandescent anymore.

These LED lights give off an uncomfortable glow. This is why, even w/ incandescents, individuals and businesses were turning to full spectrum lighting. Simple proof was in the growing effects that fsl had when employed using them on plants as it was close to the sun's output in spectrum frequencies, as opposed to either type of lighting, ie. incandescent or Led.

Lots of interesting comments. All are as personally seen interpreted.

I like the 'skewed' angle - the light shadows on the tanks gives perspective - otherwise you'd have white on white w/ little to no definition. Agreed that bland skies aren't all that attractive and reflects a somber mood, as in the 2nd one.
You might try 'whitening' the tanks as in the original for separation. If you could use the selection brush on the tanks, and then invert the image, a bit of - contrast, levels, or shadows and highlights - might bring out some definition to the sky and make it more noticeable.

The third one, with a little lightening of the overcast blue ( fog often casts a light blue tenor), and then a bit of dodging on the tanks might bring out some calmness to the image. Again see if any toning of the sky would help.

On your comment on the moods created by somber days, there is a condition that many people in 'eternal' overcast days are afflicted with. It's called SAD, or seasonal affective disorder. It is of help I have found that a red light ( pen light) applied in the middle of the forehead affects the pineal gland and helps to level out the highs and the lows. It works in the nano-meter range of light frequencies. Just fyi for anyone interested.

'Course a good bottle of wine I've also heard can have therapeutic values as well..... :}

I think you have accomplished the task at hand. Well done.
I like the last image w/ the varying textures and lines. Annnd, the icing was the bird of top of the tree...
yeah, I know - little things......
Glad you didn't over process/ contrast it. The soft look works well on this image.

Might consider using the same pp applications on the last image as the first.

Seems like more people are more interested in their rights as opposed to their responsibilities.

If this technology worked I would be all for it. Who doesn't want cleaner environments?

Yet consider the pollution of our land fills - soil, water run offs, etc. -when these non-degradable toxins sit for eons - ok, maybe just a really really long time?

Ever read where the local Fire Dep'ts. can't put out a battery initiated fire? Or when one ignites on the back of a tow truck? Or in a garage, where occupants may be up, or may be asleep?

On the other hand, all problems resolved, they are Fast! Economical? nope, considering the cost of electricity. And the original purchase price. And the cost of repair, and or/ replacement battery costs.

But neither were the 'modified' cars I built and drove in the past. More of a race between the rpm & fuel gauge.
