I have had multiple visits over this issue and they have fancy names but the Doctor basically says “you’re old”. They are experts at collecting the fee and avoiding any kind of treatment that might cost them money. Welcome to health care in the USA in 2024. Sorry for the rant.

I’m sorry you have had such a poor experience with US healthcare. Over my 80 years on earth I have had multiple encounters with US healthcare, all ending up with positive outcomes. Fortunately, none were life threatening. Your experience may be a result of a poor choice of physicians, lousy or no insurance, or plain miscommunication with your provider. BTW, treatment does not cost the physician money. The cost of therapy is borne by your insurance or you. I hope you can find more success the next time you need medical care.

I agree, don't just do the cowboy/horse photography (of which plenty are available in Colorado, Wyoming, etc)
I don't know what town you are staying in but Goreme is the best place (in my opinion) to experience some of the most unique landscapes we have ever seen. Stay in one of the cave hotels, do the balloon rides, you can walk around to many of the fairy chimney areas on your own or book a local tour for a few days. It really is an amazing place!

Staying at the Nino Cave Suites. We will be on an organized photo tour with guides who live in the area as well as a well regarded travel photographer. We are scheduled to go to Avanos, Hurmetci Village, the Salt Lake at sunset, Red Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, and other sites. We have the option of doing a sunrise balloon ride.

The people are wonderful and love to interact with respectful visitors. They never met a picture they didn't like!
Pick and choose what you realistically have time to do.
We spent 2 days--and wish we had more time.
Have a great time!

It is an amazing place. Did not do the 'cowboy thing' but the entire area and experience offers more historical and visual experiences than you would expect. If I had more time, I would have definitely looked to do your tour. Speak to your tour guide ahead of time to make sure that you are also not missing the other areas.
Enjoy...

What are the “other areas” of interest.

Wild horses, sunrise and sunset balloon rides, wranglers. How can you go wrong?

I have an opportunity to do a photo workshop in Cappodocia this May, shooting the wild horses, horse wranglers, and cowboys. I know one of the tour organizers who is a talented photographer, and she is bringing along another photographer who has an impressive portfolio of shooting horses and cowboys. Asking here to know if anyone on the site has been there and what were their impressions. It is not that expensive compared to the usual safari prices, but still would like value for money.

I have been hesitant to download Sonoma 14.3.1 to my MAC due to past experiences. I ask MAC users if they have had any issues with this release. Thanks.

Mark

Stable release. No issues, but it may depend on the architecture of the Mac you are using, age being the most important.

Your loyalty to them will never be returned, if it is not economically feasible.

Loyalty to the customer base has to be returned or they will lose their most valued customers. Once that happens, it is like a snowball rolling downhill, getting larger and larger, until most customers will find another manufacturer who will provide what they want or need. Large manufacturers and retail sellers spend a lot of money trying to understand the needs and wants of their customer base. Providing the needs and wants is a form of loyalty, whether it is improved customer service, same day shipping, no fee returns, ability to talk with a supervisor and not going through a voice mail tree.

Any site where I need to enter my name/phone# I enter a google voice number which always go to vmail or message. Once every few days I go to the website, enter my number and begin deleting. After several months, the number of calls received on the google number has dropped precipitously. My cell# rarely receives spam.

I imagine that the local version of LR is being marketed to those new to the LR apps. It is hard to believe that the millions of people using LRC will all of a sudden switch to LR local. You will end up with two different workflows and they don’t sound too compatible, one with the other. Once one has put in the effort to reach a reasonable degree of familiarity with LRC, it is hard to think of a reason to switch.

I think there are more product support issues such as the OP experienced with “Nikon Support” . One year ago I purchased a Canon Pro-300 printer and could not get the driver to install. I called the Support Line number that was printed in the manual and received the same type of response: He wanted to gain access to my computer to see what the conflict was, but wanted $300 for his efforts. I declined his offer, called Apple support who also wanted to access my computer, but did not request any $$$. Someone above in this thread mentioned that some CS types are moonlighting when asking for money for solving an issue, regardless of whether or not the product was still under their free support time frame. Is it possible that the phone# for customer support can be hijacked?
