Interesting thought Jerry-most of the tunes they play always sound just a bit "different" than what one is used to hearing. Every year I want to drop them & my wife wants to keep them. We only listen to symphony and jazz-2 stations. It's all the other stations that I'm referring two. Pandora runs circles around Sirius.

[quote=jerryc41]It's about time! Sirius XM is being sued because it's so difficult to cancel service. The difficulty of canceling is one reason why I would never sign up with them again. I have a Lifetime subscription, and until they cancel that, I'll stick with it.

They should be sued for playing seriously crappy versions of great music. I'll never understand how they do it!

In case whatever course you decide to take doesn't cover it, use it with a healthy dose of common sense. My wife and I have been full-time RVers for 8 & 1/2 years and have been hovered over in campsites (I finally bought a slingshot for dealing with that) and wildlife-it freaks them out in a big way. We were hosts and a large National Wildlife refuge for 8 seasons and came upon and dealt with some serious nitwits harassing Big Horn sheep, nesting birds etc. Thanks!

Yes-there's serious anger issues going on-ignoring is wise RJM.

Ever since I was a kid, photography has been nothing but fun. It has been a total financial drain, with no money coming in. I could go through a bottle of Scotch every week, buy a big boat, or collect expensive art. Photography is more fun.

More fun than scotch? Too close to call.....

Why the "snarky" reply? Is this the attitude you took with your customers when you were a general contractor or now in your camera store? If I were new to photography, I don't think that I would want to go to your store to have my ignorance pointed out to me.

In the desert it's always a good idea to know where you are going. Backwards or forward. Yikes!

Yes-and NEVER wear shorts or sneakers no matter how hot it is! We volunteer at a federal wildlife refuge in western Arizona in the winter-going back for year 6 in November. We live and work on the refuge for 5 months and do a lot of hiking as part of our work. Wore shorts once and paid the price!

I too had that problem in a D810, but was able to visually see the bent pin and coax it back into place enough that sliding the card back in finished the straightening job. It's worked fine for 2 years now.

I second this choice as I have that lens also and this came with it, bought used from the seller. It fits the camera body attached to the lens and the tripod mount ring, and has a heavy-duty strap for carrying the whole package over your shoulder. (Which is very heavy BTW, with a D810.)

My lens came with a cheap felt bag. I bought (suggested from this site) an Ape case (Amazon). It works great:
