I have been asked just how many cameras do I have in my collection. Following is a small selection.

Harry, my Bolsey B2, which I've had since the middle 1950s also has a carrying case of nice light leather. I do have a Leica II C with an uncoated 3.5 elmar lens, a 35mm film holder and an imaret view finder. And I have the copying attachment with several extension tubes. And for kicks, I don't know why, but I have the 11th and 15th editions of the Leica Manual and several bound copies of the Leica magazine.

I'm the church historian and have my camera with me every Sunday. It's a challenge to record the history of the church during the pandemic. I have photos of parts of the service that never would have taken place before the pandemic. Events like the pandemic challenge us to rethink the ways we have been doing things and perhaps cause us to come up with better ways to accomplish better end results.

I have a six-pack cooler that I use for my camera when it's in the car. Keeps it cool and out of sight. The cooler also stores an extra battery and maybe some other accessories.

I'm just 94 and will be using my Nikon 7200 today at the retirement celebration of our minister. Several hundred pix will be in an album for him covering his last 14+ years as our pastor.

Id prefer that the skyline not practically bisect the picture.

I've been on the honor flight. It's a real way to honor veterans for their service.

There's a two-lane covered bridge at the entrance of Brown County State Park in Indiana that is still an oldy.

If you have home owners insurance, list your camera equipment on that policy.

Some would call me "el cheapo." I take some time to crop the pictures the way I want them. Then I use publisher and an 8 1/2 X 11 page or more for related pictures. At the same time I label each picture and include the date somewhere on the page. I've had good success printing on Epson premium presentation paper MATTE with my ET- 4550 printer. Then I put the print in a sheet protector and whatever size 3-ring binder I want.

Before I get a new camera home, I stop by my insurance and insure my camera. My daughter dropped one of my Nikon film cameras several years ago and insurance took care of complete repair--even a new body. Insurance on cameras is dirt cheap as far as I'm concerned. Dick

I have studio photos of my grandparents and great grandparents (16 x 20)--some dating into the early 1880s. I followed the photographers' suggestion for preserving family history--duplicate it and disseminate it. I copied the photos and made 4 x 6 prints for all my cousins so they would have photos of our ancestors. Then I also placed copies on the "Find a Grave" site.

I shoot pictures all the time for my church and for some Habitat for Humanity projects. I'm using a Nikon D7200 with an 18-200 zoom. Perhaps I'm "lazy" or "efficient", but I set the camera completely on automatic--ISO, shutter speed and aperture and shoot. If I'm shooting during a church service, I turn the flash off. For the final prints, I usually crop the pictures and make them into 8 1/2 x 11 collages in Microsoft publisher and label the individuals, places, dates and any other info that will identify the picture for viewing sometime in the future (after you've forgotten all the details). This can also become a part of the church history so make a copy with labels for the church archives. I would also encourage you (or have someone else) write a short story about each project as it happens. If not, the stories of the projects change with each rendition--just like fish stories.
