Can you tell me what you like about the upgraded version?

The new start menu sits right at the center of the taskbar. It has a flyout design with pinned and recommended apps accompanying each other
The new Start is the best thing about Windows 11
One of my favorite features of Windows 11 is the revamped Action Center. It follows a design that we have seen on mobile OSes, and I like this mobile-first approach to important system toggles. You can now simply click on the unified “WiFi, volume and battery” button to open the new Action Center. It packs all the necessary controls, including brightness and volume sliders. You can also add more toggles like before.
You can now control all your media playback from the new Action Center on Windows 11. No matter if you are playing a YouTube video, Spotify playlist, a Twitter clip, or a local video, everything shows up in the Action Center
The new File Explorer is functional and has all the features you need. You now have colorful new icons, a new Context menu, and a Command bar up top, which replaces the existing Ribbon menu bar.
In Windows 11 you can now run Android apps powered by the Amazon App Store
Faster Windows updates. Microsoft claims the updates will be 40% faster
On Windows 11 you can install the “Your Phone App” that makes everything on your phone available on your computer, including, reading and sending texts.
There are other things about windows 11 that I like but this is getting long-winded so I will quit.

I have had windows 11 for about 2 weeks. So far, smooth as silk with zero problems.

More like a 1951 or 1952, Certainly not 1954.

Hi all my friends.

I didn't know where to put this but needed to put my thoughts somewhere.

My 39 year old son Craig died today of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He left behind a wife, Jen, a son, Tylor, the photographer and a daughter Allysa, that just this Friday graduated from 8th grade.

We were with him a good part of the day. He played in two softball games today, in which I got some amazing shots. For some reason, his image was in most of my photos I took at the ballpark.

The photo below is from our first boat ride of the season last weekend.

I don't know how I am going to cope with this........I just can't understand!

Hugs(?)

Rick
Hi all my friends. br br I didn't know where to ... (show quote)

Two years ago my oldest son did the same thing also with a pistol. His son, my grandson found him sitting in his chair at home. It was truly a nightmare come true but ... As time goes by it does get easier to bear. I can sooo sympathize with you, I have been there. Wish I could help but it is something only you can cope with. Strength and good luck to you.

I was there in late September last year. One of the days I was there it rained quite a bit. The rest of the time is was sunny and warm during the daytime and below freezing at night. Have a good trip and let us see your photos of the park.

Is there a way to increase the number of shots beyond the three that my Nikon D7000 allows in bracketing mode?
Thanks
Bill :)

I have a Nikon D7000 also and do quite a bit of HDR. For most of my shots 5 exposures is enough to cover the range. For me the simplest way is to set the shutter release to Cl and shoot the three shots it allows at +1, 0, and -1. Then change the compensation to +2, 0, and -2. You end up with 6 exposures two of which are at 0. Using this method the only step required between the first and second three shots is to depress the bracket button and change the amount of compensation. I then simply delete the extra right on exposure. Its a little cumbersome but I haven't been able to come up with an easier way other than to save up for a D800.
