Months ago there were a few threads about upgrading to Win 11, both pros, cons, and wait. I would appreciate feedback on WIn 11 users' experiences with it, mainly with regard to bugs. I'm not averse to learning the ins and outs (I've done it so many times, starting with DOS, etc.) but what problems have arisen.
Switched my desktop and my Surface Pro to Windows 11 without any adverse effects.

No problems here. Straightforward upgrade to two computers (desktop and laptop) no problems of any kind since.
I've not had nor seen any issues with W11
To responders, what did you find actually improved or was added by converting to W11? I have W10 on my rrickety Dell desktop that has definitely gone around the bend and I need to replace it with another Dell desktop. Appreciate your views as actual users of W11, and what method did you use in makng the changeover? I have no interest in gaming, etc., use it mainly for surfing the net, UHH, eBay, the usual ramblng of an over-the-hill codger who started using computers when it required two floppy discs to start, the first disc to tell the machine it was a computer, then insert the second disc for the program you wanted.

I have no PC capable of running Windows 11. The newest has an i5 seventh gen CPU but that's not supported in Windows 11.

It's great...better than 10.

Sounds like we started in the same place. My first computer was a Wang word processor - 64k memory!

Only one issue - no Win11 driver for my Canon Pro 9000 MKII printer. Some users have had luck with the Win 10 version driver, but doesn’t work for me. Other than that, very smooth. Went to bed one night and it was running 10, and woke up to a slightly different task bar and Windows 11 with everything working except the Canon. It’s at least as fast as 10, maybe a bit faster, but that’s just subjective - no before and after benchmarks. There are some new features, but none that I’m using.

I found that both my desktop and my Surface Pro ran marginally faster.
My only issue is the inability to add toolbars. I use a third party app dock instead.

Would you care to elaborate on why it's better? I haven't made the upgrage yet.

Can you tell me what you like about the upgraded version?
