Try going back to Safari now.
I wonder if they made a change and it took some time to propagate if they use multiple servers.

There was a Safari update last night- maybe that addressed the problem.

I had the same problem on Safari. Switched to Google Chrome and now Facebook is working fine-no more scrolling.

Sorry for the title, pretty lame. I was wondering if anyone has the problem I do when pressing the shutter button? I have a tremor in button finger and tend to lunge into a shot rather than squeezing off a shot. I was interested if anyone has a mental approach to pushing/squeezing the shutter button? Once in a while, I manage to get it under control, but it takes a lot of concentration. Wondering if anyone has a thought process just before pushing the button. Thanks

Would back button focus help with this issue?

I use a product made by hammernutrition.com called HEED. It works well for me and is not too sweet.

How could I forget to focus??
I did, 7 times, with attempts of shooting a small family gathering at my home. Everyone wanted me to shoot the group with me (of course in the photo). I set up the tripod, set shutter release for 3 seconds to give me time to place myself in the photo. Each time I reviewed the photo it was terrible. Not once did I figure out that I had not focused by pushing the AEL button. (I set the camera for BBF about 2.5 years ago). DUH! DUH! DUH! So, we have no photo of the group gathering. Might not have another opportunity for years.

Anyone else have DUH! experiences similar to this one.

Life is still fun. I simply smile at myself for all my "DUH" moments.
Stay safe!
Mark

I know that Hoggers have shared their opinions about non-OEM batteries many times. This is a little different—I'm asking about using non-OEM chargers, in order to have a two-port charger, for example. What are your experiences with third party chargers? Does anyone have experience with the Coolshow brand?

Thanks!

Ben

I have an Enegon usb charger and two batteries from Amazon, it works fine.

"...I was asked by a friend to take over school portraits this year..." Is this a commercial assignment, or are you an instructor at the school? If there is recompense involved and you are not employed at the school in another capacity then you seriously need to obtain Professional Liability Insurance. Even if you have a Home Owner liability insurance policy it likely will not cover commercial use of your camera.

The brutal fact is you would be turned down if you attempted to attain a "Photography Permit" from either a private or public entity if you couldn't provide evidence of Professional Liability Insurance... It's virtually always in an application for same. This is to protect both the entity issuing the permit and you... Possible one of the highest hurtles to enter the commercial photography arena is obtaining Professional Liability Insurance which btw is not cheap.

Until you resolve this issue everything else is secondary...

Sorry to be the messenger here... But most MOB's will certainly ask a potential Wedding Photographer if they do indeed have Professional Liability Insurance. Remember the MOB is likely the one who signs the check...

Bottom Line? Any time there are minors involved Professional Liability Insurance isn't optional it is in essence mandatory...

Best Advice? You might want to start your search for Professional Liability Insurance with the PPA
https://www.ppa.com/benefits-mem/insurance-options/general-liability-insurance
They are one of the more notable organizations which serves the commercial photography sector.

All the best on your journey Suzanne
