I post most my photos here but also use Facebook. A couple of days ago my FB just started scrolling through posts on its own. I can not control it for more than a few seconds before it just starts scrolling fast through posts. I can not stop it to see a post that flashes up. Eventually it will stop and I can scroll back up a few posts. I can go to a comment on my post and read and it will stay there. But when I go to the main home page to see friends and photographers posts it is off to the races….

I have logged out and turned the computer and iPad (it does it on both) off then back on.
I have tried using Google chrome and Firefox as opposed to safari.

Anyone else having this issue?

Maybe it is the universes way of keeping me off FB….

Any help is appreciated!

I’ve had the same problem for the past 3 days. I’ve just upgraded to latest safari but I think I had problem prior to upgrade.

It recently started for me when using Safari on MacOS Monterey. I scroll down a couple of pages without issue, and then all hell breaks loose and it starts scrolling down all by itself.

I don't, however, have that problem with Google Chrome; it is stable for me. Are you having the problem with Chrome?

This problem has been reported in the past, although I've only just seen it recently.

If viewing on an iPad, why not try the stand alone app?
I have the same issue, but only when I use a browser.

I have the same issue which started 3 days ago and have not done anything to my computer so I think it’s a FB problem but I don’t know how to report it to FB.

Try updating your browser(s) on the affected equipment. Try the FB help link directly above.

I just did the latest update for Monterey and Safari; no change, still FUBAR.

I deleted history, cleared cache, rebooted; no change, still FUBAR.

FB is now FuBar.

Is it just on Apple devices?
Is it just in the browser?
Does it only affect Facebook?
I have apple devices but use the Facebook app and have not noticed any problem.
I will try using browser.

My FB feed has been randomly jumping down like that for weeks!
I normally use the scroll wheel, and I found that it doesn't seem to do it if I use the page down button....
Must be a code compatibility anomaly with Firefox.
Are you using Firefox?
I've not tried it with another browser.
It is annoying.

My copy of Firefox is current, and it was doing it way prior to the past few updates.

Since two other browsers are also doing it, I would suspect something that they put in their page coding.

Only Facebook jumps. I'm using Firefox in Windows.
