I've used the 500mm PF with my Z50 with good results for birds. You do need the FTZ adapter though. It is a very sharp lens and reasonably lightweight too. That gives you 750mm equivalent, and with a 1.4x teleconverter you have 1050mm equivalent.

I just bought a Z50 from them. It was a good experience.

I bought a couple of them about 7 years ago. They both finally died (no longer hold a charge) this year. Not bad, although I have Nikon batteries from 10 years ago that are still going strong.

There will always be things on a forum you don't like, but there is a simple solution (that doesn't require 11 pages of discussion). Just scroll on by. Life is too short to get annoyed with unimportant things. If you don't like the subject/pics, etc., just move on. It really is that easy.

While I try to get it as close to right in the camera as I can I'm glad that we have the ability to edit a picture to our liking in an editor. I started as a photographer in the 70s, so I am ecstatic that today it is easy to remove a sign or telephone pole, or anything else you don't want in an image that I wouldn't have been able to do back then. There are so many reasons to use an editor that I don't understand why people don't want to do it. I gives you total control over the image. I see people that take JPGs without editing and they look like snapshots. I make art, not snapshots.

We have the technology, why not use it?

I use the Peak slide with the two normal strap rings and have no problem with it at all.

Me too. I don't like to use the tripod mount because I want to be able to put it on a tripod without hassle. It hangs just fine for me using the side strap rings.

Anybody who lists Kai W, whose YouTube channel is the most shambolic on the web, should be suspect.

I find him pretty entertaining, but not that informative. Still, I enjoy his videos. Why would that make me suspect? And what am I suspected of? Asking for a friend.

He was born 3 weeks ago. Starting to get big. I've been going back periodically since he was born.

Very nice splatbass - if only I could expand from property!! - did you begin with fine art and move to R/E or vice versa?

I've modified my website based on comments here - https://propertyphotography.net

Thanks! I’ve been doing fine art for years, RE is fairly recent for me.

Your pics are very good. I’m just starting out in real estate photography, I hope I can get as good as you.

I have a Neewer speedlight, flash triggers, and a gimbal head. All work well with no issues.

I keep a Ricoh GR under the armrest. Even when the car (2018 Jeep Compass) is really hot that compartment doesn't get hot.

I started scanning slides a few years ago and then something came up and I haven’t been back to it. I look these beautiful photos, and some not-so-beautiful ones, and I can’t believe i shot these with a manual (except for the built in light meter) with a Minolta SRT-102.
I’m still asking myself “are you sure I took them?).

That's awesome. I did the same thing with slides I took in the 80s, but when I said "I can't believe I shot these" it was because they are so bad..... :)

I beg to differ with you on your first sentence. I'm speaking from fact. If it is a fair, set up with the contract to which I alluded, it is private. Do not mistake private property open to the public and public property. They are distinctly different.

But if you are on private property open to the public and are in full view of the public you still have no expectation of privacy.
