I have found videos from Steve Parry very helpful and informative, with little time given to GAS and other equally pointless subjects. Who do other forum members think might also be worth a beginner watching on YT?

It depends on what your interests are. For me, it's all about Landscape Photography, so:

Tony Northrop
Thomas Heaton
Nigel Danson
Simon Baxter
Ben Horne
Michael Shainblum
and lately Mark Denny

Steve has a couple of Wildlife presentations on the tube with tips that anyone could use the skills & tips on any brand camera suited for wildlife. I'm pretty sure he has one or 2 on landscapes also but you would have to go quite away back to find them.

If your a Sony guy, watch Mark Smith. He is not a photographer, he is a gear head with useful information.

There's a vast number of very competent presentations on youtube that can be quite instructional. In some cases, I've learned small snippets of information from an entire presentation. In some cases, I've combined those snippets to incorporate them into a number of steps when processing.

However, one of the worst sources of information are videos presented by Tony Northrup and his wife.
