I think this is a great camera. I've been using it for years, never have had a problem with it and just recently I have started using it to do videos, also a great quality image coming from that side of the camera. You can't go wrong with the price you are looking at

I use it often on macro shots (indoors). I use different color filters on the cube and they all work fantastic.

I spent quite a bit more money when I bought my D610. I have had it for over four years and love the camera. I have never had any issues with it, cleaned the sensor once after I was shooting and changing lens's in a very dusty area.

I thought the oil spots were on the D600. The D610 replaced that model and the oil spots.

I've had the 610 for five years, never a problem with it and love the photos it takes. If you go to B&H they are having a sale on the 610 for about $900 with a 50 mm lens, extended battery pack and wireless module. Pretty good deal in my opinion

The Olympia camera club (OCC) is a fantastic club to join. There is something for everyone in this club. Field trips, monthly practical photography classes, monthly guest speakers, member sharing sessions. Very noncompetitive. You will love the photographic opportunities this area provides.

Looking for photographic opportunities in and around the Seattle area, suggestions greatly appreciated.

Rent a car and travel 60 miles south to the capital in Olympia. Farmers market, Olympia docks, Tumwater falls, lots and lots of trails through forests

Looks like you need to clean your sensor. Once that's done you are as good as new

Got the lens just a week ago. Put it on my Nikon D5200 and got some nice clear photos of Hummingbirds. I was able to get my lens for $619.00. Currently I'm trying to decide if I should purchase a D7200 or a D7500 and place the lens on one of those units. The photo taken was at 300mm, f6.3, 1/125, ISO100 (manual mode)

After taking these photos, I noticed the spots as well. Took my D610 in for a sensor cleaning and that eliminated the problem.

I had never photographed a hummingbird before. Found out it took some patience and various settings on my camera until I got it right.

When I started taking photos, circa 1960's, all we had was manual. Sure, there were light meters, but after a while from lots of trial and error, you would know what setting you needed by the light of the day.
