I really want a FF camera and I found a good deal from a company I always buy from selling the d610 for 896 an instant rebate of 1100. What does everyone think? I can afford this price, and already have a full frame lens.

This has to be one of the best deals out there and I've been shooting the D610 since they first replaced the problematic D600. I love the camera, the images are fine and 24 MP is all I need. I say go for it. chase

Is this for a used D610? Legit dealers are charging $1599 for a new US D610. Nikon pricing is set by NikonUSA and they won't repair any Nikon equipment that didn't come thru them.

Right from Nikon's website now: $899.95 their D610 and a 50 mm lens, take a look:

That is a great deal. B&H hasn't updated their site yet. Adorama and NikonUSA both have it.

I think you went through the same subject with a lengthy post about four days ago. Man up and buy it if you really want it.

You will never regret going to a full frame. I have a D610 and now a D850. It's what digital photography was meant to be. IMHO

Are you saying 'brand new' for this offer? They're listing D610s used at KEH for $625. You've been letting the FF peer pressure get too far into your thinking. Don't put new money on a camera two releases out of date. But, if we can't get you off the kool aid, look at a D750.

I'll wager that the vast majority couldn't tell the difference. FF is much overrated for the average enthusiast.

On the road to success, there's no traffic jams on the extra mile, but plenty of full-frame bodies.

I don't know about that. But even it it's true, the OP sounded to me like someone who has made the decision and I don't think he will regret it. There are so many advantages to FF that it might turn the average enthusiast into an enthusiastic practitioner. Especially if he eventually goes to a high mp sensor.
I consider myself a little further, but not a lot more, advanced than an average enthusiast. I shot medium format film for years.
Full frame, regardless of all the hype, is the exact equivalent of 35 mm. So I have actually taken a step back from where I was 15 years ago. If money was no object I would be shooting medium format digital.
To the OP--I would jump on that deal with both feet yesterday.
