I shoot with the 7D. It is a great camera. I like the 8 fps since I do a lot of action photography. The build quality is great. Movie makers have even used the 7D for video scenes.

I make a file folder on my hard drive and put the pics directly into it. Then I open Bridge and access the pics.

Always, Always, use a back up such as a external hardrive and also put them on a disc depending on the importance of them. I print mine out in high quality so that I can scan them in and get great prints from the print. I never leave anything on my hard drive unless it is already backed up.

You can get them at a camera store. I have three that cover the camera nicely. They are clear and easy to see the controls. They are also inexpensive. Just a long clear piece of plastic wtih a tie at the end to keep out the rain. You could use a rubber band and use the plactic wraps that come with the daily newspaper.

The model you might want is a CANON! Just kidding. Find out what you want a camera to do and get that one. Decide what bells and whistles you want.

There are so many. You may only be satisfied with a tripod that is very expensive. They are light weight and sturdy at the same time. I think when it comes to tripods, "You get what you pay for" may be the rule.

You can always level the picture out in a photo program. I use Photoshop CS5 to level out any pics that I have taken at an angle. Other programs will do this also such as Adobe Elements for a lot less $.

Photoshop CS5 and Elements 10 have what is called content awareness which can be used to take out unwanted objects. The clone stamp can also be useful. Corel Painthshop pro X4 also has this capability. You can download all of these for free on a trial basis and this allows you to use this feature in order to see what works for you.

If the battery does not have a memory then you can charge it anytime you want. Check with the maker of the battery or check websites to deterine if you can top off the battery or let it discharge before charging it.

When taking a picture, if you get what YOU wanted and are happy with it, then that is all that matters. However, if you are taking pictures for others, then what THEY want is what mattes.

Check out all brands of SLR cameras in the price range you can afford and the features you need. I shoot Canon. However, never under any circumstances let anyone tell you what brand to buy.

Just because you own something does not mean you can do what you want with it. You and the model are entering into an agreement for a specific purpose and nothing more. I own a gun but I am restricted as to what I can do with it.

If you are standing on public proerty, you can take pictues of whatever you can see. However, if you are on airport property, the owner or manager has a right to make you stop. Also, when taking pictures you can not climb up on a ladder to take pics of something on the other side of a solid fence as you would be violating expected privacy rights. If the fence is a chain link fence that you can see through from a public spot, you can take pics of what is on the other side of that fence as there is no expectation of privacy. If you are going to be in an area for some time such as the airport, it would be best to let someone know ahead of time what you want to do. Take into consideration how you would feel if someone was standing on the sidewalk taking pics of your house and car . You would most likely want to know what was going on.
