I have a son who works for an aerial photogrammetry company. They have worked on mapping projects for National Geographic, Apple, Google, the US and foreign governments, private industry, etc. It’s amazing what can be determined by photogrammetry by plane and satlittle imaging. Not only leniar measurments, by volumes, stock piles, etc, and 3D imaging.
I thought battery, too. I have a Pentax 3 that started doing wired things like repeated mirror flapping, dead screen when one particular battery went below 30% charged. Got rid of that battery and it never happened again.
I always prefer burst mode over video for single frame images, because burst mode gives full resolution, while video is lower.
“Assuming your camera has a video mode, the captured video will generally be at a much lower resolution that the sensor is capable of for still shots. Burst mode is the camera shooting multiple still images at full resolution.”

How were the image files supplied to her? And how were they supplied to the web developer? If they were sent as enclosures within an email message, the email system may have automatically lowered the resolution to make the message smaller.
I was taught to only use distilled water or lens cleaning solution. Solutions made for eye glasses may affect the coatings that are on the manufactured lens. And dab, don’t rub, using clean area of swab or lens cloth.
Also, note that some brands of common ‘cotton swabs’ such as in a drug store, are not all cotton. Synthetic material in them may cause scratches.
Locate the PSE.exe file in the Windows programs directory folder(s) or Adobe folder in your Drive directory (generally Drive C). Once found, make a shortcut to place on your Home Screen. Once it is there, you can also easily make copies of the shortcut if you want (I have a folder on the Home Screen for all my photo apps and programs). You also can right click on the shortcut and Pin to task bar. Clicking on any of the shortcuts will open the program.
As far a making the older version an Open With option, the Open With list has a choice of Other. Click that; locate the older PSE.exe file as described above, and click on that. There should also be an option To Alway Use This Program, which you can select for now. You may have to go through a similar process when you are ready to make your new version the preferred program.

What specific items do you have? What prices you are asking? Am interested; I have two Pentax DSLRs.
The setting sun was so intense at direct eye level that I had to under expose by several stops. As a result the trees and foreground were underexposed and too dark. Because I shot in RAW, I was able to reclaim some of the detail of the village and trees and to select best lighting mode before development.
Have you used Sure Shot by Snaptrex? If so, how do you like it?
The notice I read about it was that it is part of the newest Photoshop Elements package. No mention was made of it being part of the PSP online Adobe program. Sorry, I don’t remember where I read about it, but it was within the last week.
Started serious digital photography with a Pentax K10, which I still use a a backup. Now use a Pentax K3. Never could have afforded a Nikon or Cannon of equivalent capability. Main problem is a lack on lens options.
I am now retired so have no plans to upgrade the DSLR. Still do a lot of nature photography with them for my own pleasure.
I love your simple but useful DIY.
Could you post a picture with your camera mounted?
How do you focus and frame your shot?
It helps to slowly walk zig-zag style rather than directly toward a bird or nest. If possible, keep a structure (tree, building, etc.) behind you so that you blend into the back ground more. Held you camera chest high while approaching, and do the final lifting to your eye slowly when ready.
Cardinals are much more wary than robins. Few Cardinals will allow people to approach as closely as robins do. If they are frightened off the nest too often, they might abandon it, to rebuild a next elsewhere and to lay another clutch of eggs. Learning to approach birds takes practice and techniques, and if possible, a blind.

Do’s and Don’ts of Nest Photography:
“You should always photograph birds responsibly. But you have to be extra responsible during nesting season. season.“
