Have you used Sure Shot by Snaptrex? If so, how do you like it?

Mitzis, have you looked it up so that others do not have to. What do you plan to use it for? Do you have any particular concerns about this device? Share what you already know and feel with others in the UHH Main Discussion section.

Looks like an interesting gadget for a $35 sale price. I note that in the first photo there is the degree of rotation that is not as obvious as the extension/elevation adjustment.

I don't know how well built it is but it seems very cheap for $35. I think it could be useful but I am afraid it's not well built because of the price.

They say "ultra stable" - looks pretty flimsy to me ! ........it is a fairly good idea - but it would have to REALLY be stable for me.....no matter the price.

Note the shipping information. Shipping time 15-20 days. A good indication that it's coming from china. That may help your decision.

Chinese made products are not necessarily of poor quality but this thing I would think so because the price is too low and it does look flimsy.

While I see a use for something like that, there is no way that I would trust it to hold My D810 and 24-120 f4 lens.

There are similar units on Amazon that range from 2x to 1/2x the price of Sure Shot by SnapTrex; and there doesn't seem to be any correlation between price and quality. I've been using them as adjustable bases for wildlife trailcams, and they generally work fine even after multi-year exposure to weather. Biggest difference in quality is size/material of hinge screws but there's no way to tell except by inspection until you have it.
