Epson V600. Fast and works well. Only caveat--scan similarly exposed slides together, and if then doing a batch that is differently exposed be sure to preview them first.

I've had SmugMug for three years, and love it. I am still in the process of uploading ALL my photos (mostly as backups), and also have individual galleries for other content. All of the folders that are just backups are listed as 'private' and don't even show up when you go to my site. I'm still working on learning it, but you can play with it and change things, and always get back to what you had before modifying it. Fun to work with, and he help response is super. Check out my site: merleplagge.smugmug.com. The reason I don't have a customized name is because I'm using it for my blog, and e-mail.
I used to have a Phillips PCS enlarger. Had condenser lenses for 35 mm and 6x7. It's a great enlarger, especially for B&W as it has three colored bulbs that are controlled with an electronic panel, so you have an infinite number of settings for B&W paper. You can also project slides to make negatives from them. I just looked on Ebay, and saw one for over a thousand dollars. I gave mine to the local university and they gave it to a student, so it's getting good use.
Wonderful shots. Especially like the one of Finn. Reminds me so much of our dog Dixie who loves to play in the snow all day, regardless of how cold it is.
The second with the bird alone. I would crop it even a little closer. The background is like loud noise and somewhat distracting. Thanks for showing these.
I do one back up of my photos to Amazon. It's a free benefit of Prime Membership. However they will not back up the XMP files. So I wind up with a a bunch of orphan XMP files. So, I don't use Lightroom much anymore. They are backed up on my external hard drive though. The nice thing about Amazon Drive is I can see all my photos there on my phone, just like Dropbox or other backup.
How about an Olympus D-500L. Purchased in 1999, and it still works, although the shutter button has been replaced with a paper clip and pieces of tape. It has a whopping 850K pixels. My DSLR is a D90 and my newer ML is a Samsung NX500-it's quick and has great IQ, and can shoot at 30 frames/sec for a few seconds.
Don't discard your first image--I makes a beautiful black and white print. And the color saturation can be changed to something more normal. When a dial on your camera is set between the two effects listed you don't know which the camera is using--it will never be a combination, and can change with just a minuscule amount of movement of the dial from one to the other setting.
Scored 93%. Missed the question about lens perspective. Fun quiz.
Yes, Corel Paint Shop Pro. Took about 5 or 6 clicks to achieve this effect. I think it's almost as good as PS, and hundreds of dollars cheaper to own it. And the upgrades are quite inexpensive.
