I always seem to be a generation or two behind as my kids were too dumb to get full rides to college, and too smart not to go.
My newest camera is the EM-1 1.0, and I still use Nikons D300s and DX2.
I’ve got no complaints.
Anyone else out there using older kit? Not film, doesn’t count.

No complaints?! You'd better keep that to yourself. This forum is full of complaints.

If it ain't broke, don't replace it.

I still use my 10D for work regularly.
My 7D is not exactly cutting edge new but is still great for me.
Yes I get GAS but then ask the question of how will this actually improve my photos and realize that it won't as I need to work on technique more that a camera can't do.

No, film cameras to be discussed? Darn, I've got some old ones there.

None of my digital cameras are that fossilized (are they?). I have a Kodak "bridge" P712 (7.1MP).
For serious shooting:
Pentax K-100D (6.1MP) - converted for full time Infrared use;
Pentax K-20D (14MP);
and two newer Pentax DSLRs.

My favourite camera is the Olympus OM-D E-M1.
Followed by the Olympus C-4000 Zoom, which will fit nicely in my handbag. Unfortunately, the Smart Media cards it uses, are almost impossible to buy now... and I'm afraid that little camera isn't even heavy enough for a doorstop!

Not to be a smart arse, but Beano is a lot cheaper than a new body or glass when you feel a GAS attack coming... use what you have and explore its potential.

I have a Sony A6000.

I noticed that when the new Sony A7iii came out, my old camera did not stop working.

For DSLR I have a Nikon D1x but I don't use it much. I do use my Coolpix 5000 (circa 2002) a lot.

I think the saying here goes something like:

"If it ain't broke, don't replace it. But you can discuss it to death, if you want. And, Hey, if you have GAS and want to replace it go ahead, but first create a topic where you can get other people to tell you not to before you go ahead and replace it anyway."

Yes since I always shoot RAW with it and when shooting RAW it takes about 30 seconds for every shot.

Why does RAW take longer to cook?
