Transfer iCloud photos to external hard drive
I usually just open iCloud Drive on my Mac then copy and paste from iCloud to external drive

Memory Card Read/Write speeds

i would say your computer is clogged up have you tried running maintenance program on it is your card reader a fixture or separate what operating system is card reader compatible

Can you use a flash drive to transfer RAW images from one computer to another?

ive done exactly the same recently and they transferred as they were on original mac so it appears you are doing something wrong just re read to move as they are you must use copy and paste not move

i think you will find it is empty the used portion is the formatting process if you check any drive when you get it shows 3tb but available will always be less as its the formatted state

Problem importing photos from IPhone 6s to LR

How would you hide camera gear in a Grand Cherokee?

may just be coincidence but apple are not fitting ssd in there macs now but are fitting flash drives so might be some truth in it
