Those who think they need a new camera to succeed forget it is who is behind the camera that decides the success!

it's not what is in your bag , it's how you use what you got in it!

Know what you mean , if you do not know how to use what you got, a new camera would not help you to succeed !
You can succeed with any camera if you truly know how to use it , success is knowledge not a new camera.

With All due respect , It is not the Camera that takes the Photo and pretty much most DSLR's are equipped to do Great captures , like it was said earlier it is a matter of personal feel and taste, and how you plan on useing your Camera! Cost is the only other concern.

Okay, I know everyone has seen or participated in this discussion before, but I'm new here, so indulge me.

I'm looking at the Canon EOS 80D kit versus the Nikon D7200 kit currently on sale at Costco at a fantastic savings over other most retailers.

I've always gone with Nikon products but am now leaning toward Canon for a refreshing change in my photo life.

What are your opinions about this in general, and in these particular cameras in particular?

I do not know why everyone doesn't give the person a break , they are not here for a spelling lesson but some info on a choice of lens , It is really interesting to see there are so many perfect people on this site, that seem to wear blinders when it comes to themselves!

I have the Tamron and I am very pleased with the results , hand held is an posible with great results ! I have never been able to do birds in flight very well but with this baby I am very happy with my results now , and I am getting better all the time , I have had my problems with Sigma long range focus so if you do go Sigma the dock is a must!

I am looking to get a long zoom. I have read about the Sigma 150 to 600 sport and the Tamron 150 to 600. Most the reviews I have read say the Sigma is sharper at 600 and has the bonus of the dock. I have seen some fantastic shots on here with the Tampon though. I am leaning toward the heavy Sigma. The price is not a big consideration, but I do not want to spend more than the Sigma. Which would you choose.
