It was a easy problem to solve with the great people on this forum. You included the photo's that helped which is usually asked for, after the question is asked.
Glad it was a simple fix.Enjoy reading through this forum daily.

I have the D5500 for years and am very pleased with it. No reason to change. Good luck with the D5600.

Definitely worth visiting. It was the first Penitentiary in the world. Not considered a prison. The inmates did not have contact with one another. When the left their cell a hood was placed over their head until they got to where they were going. This way they had no idea where they were being kept. Small thick wooden doors leading into each cell. They were there to do penance for their crime hence the name Penitentiary. Went their with my camera club many years ago. Use the head phones and move at your own pace.

I don't use a tripod that often so I didn't want to spend much on one. I purchased one for about $40 and after using it was quite disappointed with most everything about it. I am also 6 foot tall and purchased a Vanguard Alta Series 70 for under $200 on sale. It was quite a bit off of the reg. price. Check them out as I have been quite pleased with it. It's not carbon fiber but I don't find it that heavy. Look at tube size for strength. I use a Nikon D5500 with a Tamron 16-300mm lens. No problems. It will handle heavier cameras and lenses.

After writing this I found Vanguard in my Spam mail with some sales. Coincidence ????

Does any other Nikon camera have the articulating screen that the D5000 has. I love the fact that it is so helpful in other than normal shooting positions. I am looking into upgrading bodies and don't know which direction I want to go yet, but I love the screen versatility.

My D5500 Nikon has the articulating scree.

My local Costco photo section is also closing down this month. Good place for refills of my ink cart. and their prices on large prints has been good. Sorry to see them go. I called Costco head quarters to voice my concern. Sure it didn't mean anything. It's about floor space and how much profit comes from that area.

My friend just went from the D3300 to the D7500. She has the same Tamron lens as you and is getting great results. Loves the camera. I also have the Tamron lens and use it quite a bit on my D5500.

When using a tripod I like the LCD screen. At times when I need to get close to the ground the LCD, which also articulates is a god send to me as I will be 72 this month.
