Lightroom CC2015 no DNG

I recently updated LRCC2015...now when I import images they come in as .nef not DNG even though I specify "Copy to DNG on import"....this has never happened before. Is this a glitch in LR? Did I inadvertently change a setting in camera to cause this?

Remove windows XP

Remove windows XP

I have Parallels 7 loaded on my iMac that has an old version of Windows XP installed within the Parallels partition. It's taking over 140 GB on my drive. Is there a problem with simply moving the Windows XP file to the trash to delete it. I don't use it nor Parallels any more.

Photoshop Brush Shortcut Nit Working

For the second time in several years the brush shortcut has stopped working in Photoshop Cc 2014. This is the shortcut where you hold down the control+alt/option key while moving the brush vertically to change the size or horizontally to change the opacity. Has anyone experienced this and do you know of a solution. I already tried restarting PS and rebooting the computer (IMac). Thanks.

When reinserting my memory card into the camera, I inadvertently moved the switch on the side of the card to the lock position. This caused all of my images to be saved to my second card that had been set to JPEG. FYI

Red River Metalic Paper

Landscape Lens suggestions

LR5 "Edit In" problem

Thank you for posting!

I have found that if I use Edit In from the Develop module I do get the dialogue asking for the type of copy to move to PSCC. If I use Edit In from the Library module however, the raw image goes directly to PSCC. After making PS edits and pressing Save or Save as in PS, PSCC does return an edited PS COPY to LR next to the original.

So, this may not be a problem but is how it's intended to work.
