The local AMSP group here invites anyone to come see what it's all about. I was a member in the 90's.

Has anyone heard a buzz about a new Nikon full frame or is it just a rumor?

I've been using Aperture since it first came out. I love it. The plug in list is growing and it does everything I need to get the job done. I like keeping my Mac in the Mac world, so far it runs flawlessly with no hick-ups. Download the trial for free, I think you'll love it.

Dont touch the shutter... use the timer. There are a lot of miles between here and the moon, a lot of stuff between the moon and your lens.... Just keep shooting.

There are a lot to choose from, but my choice was Aperture. I work in a Mac os and I try to keep all things Mac. It gives me all the tools I need and runs fast with no hick-ups. Take the time to take a look. I think you'll be surprised.

In music you try to stay away from "we can fix it in the mix". In photography "I" think trying to capture that light or the moment is part of the art. But, putting hair on a bald guy or taking a photo of someone in a basement and putting them on a beach is a bit much. Post has become an art in itself and I think it all can go well with a little imagination. Just please don't put the hair on the bald guy.
