Thanks for you comments. Error 99 - is still on because Quantaray 35-135mm does not work with my canon EOS 300D. You can reach the cannon support team by 1-800-828-4040. I continue to use my 18-55mm lens.

I like the first one. I could see it on the cover of a book! Second one lacks a center of attention, and I think I'd have less depth of field on the third.

I'm a flower fan so I like the floral shot best. Beautiful flowers with perfect focus for the subject. A non-distracting background too. I did a little edit, hope you don't mind, to give you a little idea of what could be different and a feel for what a photo editing program can do for you. All I did was to crop it in a little closer to eliminate some of the older blooms at the edges and to bring the fresh ones more to the forefront. I also brightened it just a bit. If you want to take the attention off of the few faded flowers that could not be cropped off you could try a vignette as you will see in the second edit. Another technique I have used with florals is to just snip of any wilted or old blossoms to get only fresh ones in the shot.

I like it very match. I don't know why but on my computer all my photos looks different, more interesting and effective. I am not an expert on photoshop in this case all my photos are natural.

I like the flowers. Everything is in focus. But ,then again, I'm a realist so I like realism in photos & flowers in particular.

You did something in each of these shots the needle shot with the lighting is my favorite the other two you used composition wisely and if you starting out just practice use your camera to crop and compose and use flash if lighting is dull fill flash can add snap to a dull photograph and they never will give you red eye. Use a tripod and rememeber flowers can,t run off in the middle of good shot only a photographer by not sticking around and getting the best shot.
